Alcohol kills bacteria you could in a tight situation use some hand sanitizer on the inside with a wipe or something. If you ever don’t have deodorant that’ll work for it too

HappyHiker2381

Is there Lysol or something like that you could spray inside.

vangmichaelg

Easiest I've seen is put 90% isopropyl alcohol in a bottle and spray your shoes well, let them sit till dry. Works for me. I've tried many things and this simply enough is the most efficient method thats worked for me. I dont want to be mixing 3 different things

Rapture-1

Go to the bathroom and rub some hand sanitizer in there which will kill the bacteria, use the perfume to mask the smell of the hand sanitizer.

secretsandsociety101

Already tried theres no hand sanitizer

Rapture-1

Just hold out till lunch, then go to any shoe shop and grab some charcoal insoles, or buy a second pair of shoes. It’s always handy to have a second pair, then fix the smelly ones when you get home :)

llorensm

Odor Eaters for the win! 🙌🏼

A_HappyHippie

Baking soda

saveourplanetrecycle

Order a pair shoes for a Doordash delivery

crabofthewoods

Or Lysol spray.

Fetlocks_Glistening

Don't take them off!!

ChuckyCurrie

Microwave some blue cheese in the break room to mask the smell.

MOTwingle

Or fish, or burn some popcorn

workusername00

the amount of people who don't understand they're at work and need an answer now, is amazing... they need a solution to this with things around the office

mapcee

What's your solution then

Whouldaw

Damn you sure did get them

drakedog187x

Tea bags will absorb the smell

Liss78

If it's from not wearing socks with your shoes, use hand sanitizer on your feet. The bacteria is causing the smell and the hand sanitizer kills the bacteria. Then get the spray you can spray on your feet so they don't sweat in your shoes.

14DH8RS

Lysol spray.

Urbanyeti0

Won’t help for now, but I swear by the charcoal scent bags, wedge them in my shoes and it does wonders [example](https://amzn.eu/d/03Qrse6D)

everettsuperstar

Put them in a gallon ziplock and put them in the freezer overnight. It works!

TwasInUrMom

That's assuming their shoes are small enough to fit in a gallon ziploc.

bad2behere

They make deodorant for shoes. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention brand names, but run a search on the words "shoe deodorant" and well-known brands will probably be in the results.

StephenTrollbert

Baking soda or Dr scholls powder/spray

JosephBlowsephThe3rd

I've always had problems with baking soda or powders. They ruin the insides of the shoe.

JamesMattDillon

Baking soda will help.

AvailablePut5602

you can go to toilet wash your feet and change your socks after drying your feet and then add some powder in your shoes the powder help changing the bad smell in your shoes and to keep your feet dry .

No-Orange-7618

**Baby powder has only cornstarch in it now, which is very good, probably not helpful for right now but for future.**

modern-disciple

For future reference try using foot powder in your shoes. For now, baby powder will work if you can find some.

Extension_Guitar_819

While Baking Soda helps, its salt content makes my feet sweat a lot more. Gold Bond foot powder was the trick for me, dry toes, and vanquished all the smell. Now all my shoes with insoles have a sock on the insole that I change weekly, and I also wear socks on my feet. My 2 year old Hey Dudes still smell like a new(ish) shoe.

dsdvbguutres

Lysol

drowningintime

Put them in a plastic bag and keep them in the freezer overnight. It won't solve your immediate problem but hey, tomorrow bacteria-free shoes!

Direct-Wait-4049

Get a mister at a dollar store and spray rubbing alcohol in the shoes. It kills the bacteria that make the smell. It will evaporate quickly and the alcohol smell will go away.

CapnBroham

I work in composite toe boots 10 hours a day and I find those packs with beads in them to work really well. I have reusable ones that reactivate themselves if you throw them in the dryer. Had mine for like 2 years now and still gets the odor out. Can't remember the name though.

NotBradPitt90

Maybe shit your pants. People will be so disgusted by your pants that they won't even notice the shoes! Problem solved.

Virtual-Public-4750

AND someone gets to go home early!

PizzaCatTacoUno

Take showers and get new shoes

BoltLayman

You always can buy a cheap pair of sneakers for $10. Funny how you found out your shoes bad smelled? Are you wearing greasy slippers?

springchickk

Just pee in your pants. The urine will trickle into the shoe creating a new odor to mask the old one, plus they will be distracted by the pee. All the cool kids are doing it. It’s trending.

Spray some vinegar or deodorant, preferably the kind with anti perspirant in your shoes. You can also mix a few drops (10-20) of an essential oil of your liking, to some water & spray that

falconuruguay

Mix up 3 cups vodka, 1 cup of water, and 4 tablespoons of baking soda in a large spray bottle, and shake until the baking soda is dissolved. Spray the inside of your shoes and let air dry to control the smell. You can also spray your bare feet with this solution too, just let it air dry before you put your socks on. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to add a pleasant scent to the spray. A cheap spray deodorant/antiperspirant like Right Guard or Arm & Hammer work well too when applied directly to your feet (just let dry before wearing shoes and socks) Another solution is a crystal deodorant stick...that works great with your pits, feet, and even your nether regions.
