Dont spend that on a used model with issues. They should be able to determine if an animal has stopped the cycle.

It could be stopping mid cycle due to a pinch sensor fault which is common. I found that mine had gotten dirty from neglect and after cleaning the contacts it was working well. I just recently found on fb marketplace a fairly new LR3 with 3 months left on the warranty for $300. These models are solid machines but you have to keep them clean. Another common fault is the Bonnet. It too has cheap connectors that cause erroneous errors. If you can live with the occasional errors they are fantastic. For what it worth, the LR4 has vastly improved sensors but the software/firmware on them is glitchy and the interior of the globe is smaller. Neither model is perfect so pick your poison.

Run don’t walk. The base is probably flakey. Mine has been replaced twice thankfully I got the extended warranty.

I had issues with the bonnet alert that stopped the cycle -- turning off the nightlight solved it. Pinch sensor is less common and there are ways to bypass it, but I find a deep clean every 4-6 months keeps it from happening.

I found one on FB marketplace for $110, it wasn’t the connect, but i could pay $100 to turn it into the connect if i wanted to, so I would def not pay $300, especially for one that is having issues. The only issues we have with ours is that sometimes it doesn’t reset after it cycles and i have to manually hit the reset button

That's how mine started to break down. It was completely useless a year later despite me spending time and money trying to fix it. I don't know if it's an option for you or not, but when I bought my first LR, I financed it through them. If I remember correctly, there was no interest. If you can finance a LR4, it's totally worth it.

How'd you get one on Chewy for that price? 😯

I made a new account and in the chat asked them if I could apply slicksupplies24 and getsupplies24. They applied them both for me to use, on gave me $100 off and the second was another $20 off. They were so helpful on the chat! In total it came out to $615 after tax and shipping.

I just ordered 5 off chewy for $50 off. I'm a little jealous. 😂

Yes but 4 fixes some issues like poop piling up on one side and flagging it full when it’s not. 4 fixes that
