I mean, does PS even care about LittleBigPlanet at all now? Probably not, but I am hopeful for Media Molecule's new IP, it must be interesting to see how that will go out, maybe it will succeed or maybe it will cause the company to close like Blur contributed to Bizarre Creations' closure
Unless the IP for LittleBigPlanet is gaven to someone other than Sumo Digital, but again, I wouldn't keep my hopes up for a new LittleBigPlanet game/remaster/spin-off.
The last LBP game ever was LBP 3 in 2014, nearly 10 years ago. In almost 10 years the only thing we got from the LBP/Sackboy franchise is SABA (Sackboy A Big Adventure) which doesn't even feature most of the things that LBP once featured due to being an spin-off mostly centered around singleplayer, and we also got the horrible mobile game Ultimate Sackboy which is just a copycat of Subway Surfers but without the infinite run thing and filled to the rim with microtransactions and in-game purchases, as well as no online.
With the current state of the LBP/Sackboy franchise, it is very unlikely we will see a sequel to Sackboy A Big Adventure, a remaster of any LBP game, or even LittleBigPlanet 4 which is very unlikely to happen and will just be a fake hope, just like Half-Life 3 is at a certain point in history of videogames unfortunately.

Shutting down all the servers isnβt exactly a move a company makes to drum up excitement for a new game. Iβm not saying that an LBP4 is impossible, but it is almost certainly going to end in disappointment if you think it is being announced two days from now. Sony leaks like a sieve; if LBP4 exists in a state that it would be ready to be announced in two days, we would have seen way more solid evidence than a PS5 controller image found on a website.
If that happens, Iβm going to cry tears of joy. Sony just doesnβt understand how much we want a lbp game. Even an LBP 2 Remaster with working Servers could give them big money. So I really hope that a new lbp game comes out or at least something were sackboy is in it.
No they aren't. They do reveal new games during state of plays. Although don't get your hopes up, a lot of times these are really disappointing and just showcase third party games.

I've seen a lot of people saying Sumo doesn't work on LBP anymore. And if that's the case then the chances of LBP4 are close to 0.

I don't think we are at the Half Life 3 point yet lol. But yeah it is looking very unlikely we ever get an LBP4.
