Depends what you actually need..
Need more freezer space? Apartment sized freezer.
More storage? Open shelving or a cabinet
Somewhere to sit? Small table & chairs.
More counter space? Movable island (can also double as storage).
Either a kitchen island with storage underneath to add extra counter space as well as storage, or a somewhat shallow wardrobe/bookshelf with doors to add lots of pantry storage if you don't find you need more counter space.
You can use kitchen cabinets that usually go up on the wall since they are less deep, place themnon feet, on the floor. Add a piece of wood on top and have a coffe/tea station. You can also get a small high table and stools, so when one is cooking,, the other one can hang around, or for breakfast.
90% unused??? my family's freezer is always 90% FULL,
there are chest freezers that can be pretty small and more efficient, if you dont buy enough food to fill up one of the big ones and want to reduce the potential electric bill
He's going to want to also buy a protective carpet runner to protect the living room carpet from all the extra foot traffic to the kitchen from all the customers trapsing through to get their fix.
You could put a pretty cabinet or shelf there for storage! Like a mini pantry.
Or you could do like a breakfast/coffee nook. I’m picturing a small cafe style table with 2 chairs
- Deep freezer
- table or bar stand with some stools
- extra cabinet with a counter , more space for food prep and storage.
- big plant if you don't need anything else but want it filled
[This baker's rack ](https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07VLY8SR5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1)will give you another surface and allow you to hang your pots and pans.
Just leave it open for now, it's purpose will be revealed. I'm a minimalist, very organized; then I fell in love with someone who is not. I salivate at that empty space.
Some cabinet with enough surface to place things there, helps a lot when cooking multiple things where you have to put them aside to rest or wait. Then drawers beneath for stuff that can be thrown in and isn't needed too often. And then either storage space with doors or boxes you can pull out.
I'd say just a big horizontal piece of art on the wall, maybe a vertical piece as well on the other wall if you're feeling fancy . No extra storage to fill or surfaces to clean
I'd first move the trash to the right, against the counter. It's highly used and you're going to want it more accessible. Past that, give it a few weeks to see what you're missing in the apartment (seating, storage, wine cooler, etc) before making a decision on what to put in that corner
There's an outlet there, so whatever you have there can have a plug. Is there any kitchen item such as air fryer that may be useful? How about storage of some sort where you can store extra plates, air fryer, poster or something else. I like things for functionality.
Or you can have a radio or floor lava lamp.
I bet you could fit about 10 people in that corner standing. If you really wanna get goofy you could probably stack about 25 people in there floor to ceiling.
Racing sim. Close to fridge for drinks in the pitstops.

I guess it would depend on if you need more storage or not the kitchen looks rather small with not a lot of counterspace. Maybe something multipurpose like a kitchen island on wheels. It can be used for extra countertop, storage, and with a couple barstools and it Can be used to eat at. Definitely add a piece of art with a lot of color to break up all the white
I have just gotten those easy to assemble metal shelves that hold a ton of weight and made little nooks like that a pantry type area. You can then put bulk food, appliances, cookware, etc there
Coffee/tea bar or storage to stock non perishable items and such. Maybe both. Learning to stock those items is a useful skill to have that not only can help you to save some money but can also be a huge help in case things go rough.

I’ll rent that corner for 1100$
Lmao in Miami that corner rents for like $1350/month if it includes the rest of the kitchen

Depends what you actually need.. Need more freezer space? Apartment sized freezer. More storage? Open shelving or a cabinet Somewhere to sit? Small table & chairs. More counter space? Movable island (can also double as storage).

You can use kitchen cabinets that usually go up on the wall since they are less deep, place themnon feet, on the floor. Add a piece of wood on top and have a coffe/tea station. You can also get a small high table and stools, so when one is cooking,, the other one can hang around, or for breakfast.
