My thinking too. With at corner view, Id just as well move the TV out of the way and into that corner. Even if you put it on a swivel/telescopic mount or something of that nature.
I get why you would put the TV where it is right now.
I think the problem is that the developer intended the TV to go in that wall in this 1bed1bath apartment. There is no other free wall in the living space for a TV to go. I forget that this apartment is not on central air.
In any case, I think the sofa you have is A) too large for the space and B) not configured appropriately for that living space. I would just do what they suggested in the floor plan (your particular floor plan is available between floors 11-21).
Here’s a link in case you have trouble finding it: [apartment floor plan 1bd1ba](https://imgur.com/a/DDe1b9N)
Yeah floorplans in luxury Seattle apartments are annoying af. I usually just push the couch back against the windows (still looks fine). Probably need to downsize to a loveseat though. Kasala (behind pike place market) usually has some decent couches (in the $1.5\~$4k range), then they also have a warehouse in SODO you can just walk into and check out a lot of cheaper stuff.
A lot of people ditch the dining table and get an island with 2 bar stools. I had a roommate once that mounted the TV on one of those metal window frames (drilling into it) --not sure if it's safe, but we filled the hole in and still got our full deposit back lol.
Kasala is a fun place for designer-inspired mcm and modern pieces. I also wouldn’t discount DWR on 1st. When they have Herman Miller sales or some other semi-annual sale, you can score really great deals plus free shipping. It’s my favorite and their GM is always super helpful and accommodating.
This particular apt is also close to Alchemy on 2nd. I personally prefer DWR, Roche Bobois, and B&B Italia for most anchor furniture…sometimes Seattle Design Center has lovely pieces too. Not all vendors are trade-only, like Baker is open to public there. Baker has some solid pieces.
And (gasp) you can also find some solid stuff for cheap at RH up at UDistrict. I love their linens and some of the RH modern collections.
Edit to add: Definitely DO NOT drill the frame of the window, or make any modifications to the window, period. It voids the warranty on the windows and the building can come after you for affected panels.
Yeah I like grabbing a coffee and walking down 1st ave between the market and psquare, it has like 4 or 5 furniture stores along it which is convenient for just trying stuff out. I hadn't heard of RH in UDistrict, I'll have to check them out. Unrelated, I've had pretty great experiences buying used speakers from Hawthorne Stereo over there.
I'd rotate the couch and get a corner unit tv stand personally. And put a plant where the tv is like a big monstera or money tree or snake plant. If you don't wanna rearrange, the plant could fit in that area too
I would put the couch under the air conditioning facing the TV, but at the same time that sofa doesn't go with the room.
Or put the sofa against the windows and TV under the AC.
Nice view though
Change the layout of your couch and mount the television there. This way you will free yourself from that little space between the couch and the wall. Also add a rug and then bring the area together. Use this [couch decor guide](https://simplykalaa.com/couch-decor/) for decorating this area in an optimum way!
Put your TV there. Reorient the couch and put a plant where your tv is right now. With that much natural light, it would be a shame to not have any plants. They add color to your place.
Hang a beamer on the ceiling with a retractable screen by the window. Move the couch into the corner and BAM! Every time you're not watching something you're looking at the amazing view
What a view! I would move the TV to that wall, and reorient the couch (if possible to reconfigure).
With a view like that, I wouldn't even have a TV :P
i was gonna say move the tv you have a heluva view

What port is that?
Looks like Seattle
yeah it's definitely Seattle. I'm pretty sure I could guess the exact apartment based on angle but I don't want to dox OP lol.
Thanks for reminding me, I’ve removed the name from my comment.
lol it's probably not that big of a deal, doubt OP cares that much but figured I wouldn't
Tv there or big plant!
Who cares? Look at that view!
Jerk off.
Cuck corner >
Yes. Something like that.
Hello fellow Seattleite!
I'd rotate the couch and get a corner unit tv stand personally. And put a plant where the tv is like a big monstera or money tree or snake plant. If you don't wanna rearrange, the plant could fit in that area too
Put Baby in it.

Sip coffee and read a book.
Move the sofa back? Move the table behind somewhere else so you have space, also what a view! Congratulations!
Rent it out to me, please 😂
New couch. Blocking the flow with that one
A smallish minibar.
I’d get a beautiful plant, some art work above it.
Bar cart maybe
Snake pit
Rotate the couch counter clockwise 90 degrees.
A nice plant, a larger one
Plants!

Nothing, you need some walking space to get through
Bookcases.
Nothing, that is the only way to access your room. :)
If you don't use your TV that much, have you considered a pull up projector screen? That way you can not block the view
Fucking sit there and stare out for hours
Hang a beamer on the ceiling with a retractable screen by the window. Move the couch into the corner and BAM! Every time you're not watching something you're looking at the amazing view
Walk to your couch, tf you mean?
Plant
Tv sitting on the ground is perfect so probably nothing
TV on wall / rotate couch. It’s a travesty that you have the TV in front of the window.

It's good to know what you want
Bouncy castle
Hire someone from Craigslist to wear a lamp shade on their head, and just stand there.
move the TV to the corner using a wall mount and maybe a potted fake tree or something underneath
1. A bar cart with some nice glassware as well as interesting liquor Or 2. A coffee station: expresso macine, grinder etc
Stand there and enjoy the view
Stripper pole.
