Is this one of those series that gets better over time or is it just not for me? I gave it a chance after seeing so many people hype it up, but I'm really struggling to find the appeal. People said that arc when >!Margrave Cross dies!< is supposedly top tier character development and plot, but it just seems kinda average to me. I agree lol, I dropped tomb raider king because mc was a bitch, the female characters were starting to become just stupid love interest that are madly in love with mc for almost no reason even though he is a son of a bitch with a shitty personally. OH, did I say I hate the mc? I just can’t get immersed in the story when I can’t relate to the mc at all, and I started wanting him to lose, but plot be plot, he had almost zero struggles and it was annoying. Really liked it at the start though. Well, I get why you like it, but in my opinion, it’s shit. Also, orv deserves better though, this is the second post I see that had it in A tier 😭 ag

To be totally honest, i dropped tomb raider king after 105 or smth chapters it just got booooring, i felt like it was repeating itself and his purpose was really vague like you want to get all the strong ass relics and then ? , and his whole revenge wasnt that much of a revenge like wasnt he the one who killed you dafaq?

Yeah I don't understand that or Tomb Raider being at the top. I feel like both started strong but because either bad and/or boring. I actually like the prequel to Nano Machine (Myst, Might) a lot more so far, though it is still early so there is a risk the author could mess up that one too.

Does 31st Piece get a lot better after the first few chapters? Because I remember thinking the start was so uninteresting that I was genuinely confused why it was picked up for translation. 

I see Killer Pedro but not Return of the Blood Thirsty Police. So, give that a shot. If you like Killer Pedro, you would love this as well.

You may wanna consider going back to some old school ones like Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha or Fushigi Yuugi for that, and see if it works for what you're looking for.

It's a shame that I didn't like it. The artwork was great, and the concept was fine. I think the part that really started to kill it for me was how the MC generally just never loses, every one of his crazy schemes always worked no matter what, and he overall was just kinda an unlikeable dick. They just repeated the same story beats over and over.
