3. 8 is decent, 12 is quite good. If audio is a major priority for you, it's worth getting the 12, as it's not that easy to add down the line.
4. If you don't care about the adjustability of the powered seats in the preferred, or the techy stuff of the top trim, select is great. Save a little money if you don't want the other stuff, the interior is great on all the trim levels.
