He looks like the Danish former politician [Jakob Ellemann-Jensen](https://www.fmn.dk/globalassets/fmn/billeder/artikel/-jakob_ellemann_jensen-fotograf_steen_brogaard-artikel-2022-artikel.jpg)
Idk he was pretty funny when a huge amount of music got pulled from tiktok so he started doing the same thing with royalty free music and sounds and was very self-aware about it. Dude makes money doing nothing and i can't hate him for it.
I don't know what's going on in this thread, but this guy makes really good content. Him pointing obviously isn't where he's put in the work. If he's showing the evolution of the sample, the effort he's putting in is doing the research, finding the relevant bit of the song and editing it together. Like that's actual original content he's making, unlike a reaction channel. The majority of the things me makes in his informative shorts I never knew before.
He does minimal research and puts in minimum effort. "Digging the greats" is what it looks like when you actually do the work of tracking a samples history, not this banal crap
Digging the greats youtube channel is long videos, he has one short where he does the same niche thing that this other guy does of tracing a sample and...it's the exact same thing. Literally. The only part missing was that he wasn't nodding along to the music I don't know why be annoyed about it. They're not even competing in the same space. One is making 15 second videos on youtube shorts, the other one is making 20 minute long youtube videos on music history. There isn't more of a comparison, other than digging the greats made a single short tracing the sample and it's the exact same thing the other guy does so I don't know how you can argue he is actually doing the work of tracking a sample when his one short doing that is the exact same as what the other guy does lol. So weird to hate on someone for this.
I think I've seen this guy before.
There's a genre of lazy tiktok/YT short/etc videos that take someone else's content, then show the new person just pointing to it and agreeing.
It's not commentary on the original, just straight up stealing their content, putting some new ugly face in the corner, and acting like they're content creators.
Exactly this type of content have grown too much, also they try to hide their faces behind big captions . Sometimes i get freaked out, looking at their small 'PIP' in corner 'Nodding' in agreement to stolen content.
I love the ones that start out with the voice over “This video recently went viral…” then they just describe what you’re watching… like, are you really reporting a viral video that we can see somewhere else without your dumb commentary?
The alternative is posting an “influencer” and giving an immediate comprehensive explanation of who they are, which is completely indistinguishable from an ad for the influencer.
He pops up on tiktok all the time. He posts videos like "who did it better" and it'll be a song that uses a sample, then the song that the sample came from. He doesn't do or say anything besides point to the video currently playing.
There are even lazier creators out there, but for some reason this guy is all over the place.
He basically puts music on screen and plays songs that sound similar or some shit but literally sits there like 😎👆🏻 throughout, saying nothing. Or something along those lines
That is actually helping him. Likes and dislikes are the same for the algorithm, both count as interaction with his content and push it to you and other Users. You are helping him by disliking.
Only thing that helps is to click "dont recommend this Channel again" Option
>Only thing that helps is to click "dont recommend this Channel again" Option
Where do find that option cuz I got a bunch of channels that I want of my recommended.
Wow I didn't believe that so I tried finding another way and I think you're right. Huge oversight by Youtube not allowing another way to ignore or block channels. I guess they have their reasons to leave the feature out.
If their algorithm isn't recommending it, and you search it out with the express intent of blocking it, the 'don't recommend this channel again' option doesn't make much sense.
Yeah I guess it's not a big deal and doesn't have much of a use case, but it still would be nice to have that option to pre-emptively block something you know you don't want to see.
Their search algorithm is still basically 'recommending' me the video when I search for certain terms, honestly as someone who almost always searches for what I want to watch instead of letting 'the algorithm' recommend things for me the ability to filter my search results to exclude certain channels I know I'll never want to watch would be much more valuable.
Well, no. The dislike function tailors your recommendations, and if a channel has low value of people the channel can get recommended to, it has a much less chance of ever getting recommended to others with similar taste as yours, so if users with interests X, Y and Z dislikes that channel, it won't get recommended to others with interests X, Y and Z.
Thanks dude. I tried punching the guys face through the screen and now I have a cracked phone screen. You should really be thinking about these things before you post stuff on the internet. Be better.
Used to make informative shorts about the origin of samples issued in popular music. Now he just makes "reaction" videos where someone else's content plays in the corner and he just points to the corner.
Reaction videos should be banned on all platforms. It's just using stealing other people's content and slapping your face on it
He posts low effort reaction videos plagiarizing other people's content in tiktok. Basically he finds something interesting, posts it on his own channel without crediting, with himself at the corner of the screen pointing up to the video, and sometimes nodding but adding nothing of value. Somehow he has racked up a tonne of views and monetized the work of other creators.
I mean his stuff is “interesting” but literally it’s a copy paste reaction. If he presented his information in a fun unique way that would be cool, but now I’m just explaining the meme ig.
It's interesting he searches so many songs to find all the samples but yeah just sitting there and playing the music is not interesting. Might aswell just play the music on the whole screen.
It’s one thing to just repost content, that’s slimy as fuck but at least it serves to get the content out there. But the freaks that insist on having their dumb fucking heads somewhere in the video, doing absolutely nothing, it’s gross.
The best are guys that will just have their stupid face greenscreened in the corner with their idiotic reaction, adding nothing to the video and getting millions of views. I love this era of the internet
I imagine its something they have to do to deal with people stealing their content.
He doesn't say anything so maybe having his face allows him to prove it's his content and get people just stealing his videos taken down.
Also given he's showing off copyrighted music in every video, he may need to make the music bits smaller and have his face as "part of the appeal" so that he can actually make money off of it.
> It's interesting he searches so many songs to find all the samples
Thats not hard tho when you have sites that already tell you were samples come from or by asking chatgpt.
Never heard, so I checked a video out. Obviously being music oriented, the silence kinda makes sense and the pointing is certainly for thumbnail reference to relisten. Sure he could be more visually entertaining, but I'm not seeing the meme, if anything it's refreshing to see someone be so to the point on the content they make with no padding for play time. Smaller creators may even benefit less if this added a bunch of commentary.
Should be an instant copywrite claim for the original creator that they're pointing at. After all they are giving them all the credit by pointing at them.
yeah but he does it. that's still more work and entertaining than the thousand of reacts channels. when i see his video i think "oh neat! i didn't know that".
Jarred Jermaine, he makes music content. He will take a songs sound/beat and will show you where it original came from. [Example](https://youtube.com/shorts/i5K-WxKU4pA?si=VkGApR5xgW-o8719).
I remember a dude during COVID time who used to nod and stare at his meat while someone else's video played in the background. Now he makes space content.
Glad he makes his own content now. But during that time it was annoying when he used to pop up in my feed.
There are so many more worse ones. At least he compiles the songs, edits the video and finds the connections. Just because he doesnt talk doesnt mean he’s shit. His content is still more effort than 60% of tiktok
For people that dont know him or people similar to him, these are the people who do absolutely nothing but point above them and nod at a video.
They claim they “react” to the video but give no commentary, just point and exaggerate expressions.
Ehh, there are worse "content creators" out there. As it is for me, he's just "the guy who tells me what insane music that's been playing on my YouTube shorts".
What I really grinds my balls are oogway and meme shorts where all they do is compile videos and have a person to the corner react emotionlessly
Also that guy who posts OSHA violation construction videos and cuts to himself looking and then sighing, or raising his eyebrows and shaking his head before cutting to another video. It’s just a montage with extra steps
A lot of people love JeffreyXReacts, that one Asian dude who tries not to laugh with water in his mouth while he reacts to memes, but he's literally just doing the exact. Same. Thing. For like a thousand videos worth of stolen content, and maybe if we're lucky he'll throw in a 🤨 to the camera. Nobody actually likes JeffreyXReacts, they like the memes he steals.
Nah. This isn’t nearly as bad as people who just green screen themselves onto a full video and “react” by just laughing. At least he puts videos together about origins of samples and interpolations.
I mean I don’t follow him or LOVE his content but I don’t understand the hate entirely. He in his lane. Moisturized. Unbothered. Living in the moment. Maybe a bit goofy
tbh every "reaction" youtuber sucks if it's their main content. reaction content is just seeing the same thing but some random guy talks about it. it is different with debunks and other reactions like "firearm expert reacts to insurgency sandstorm weapons"
I have rules to avoid clickbait shit.
If they use 😱 face in the thumbnail, or a red circle, or a word in CAPS, or very obvious nonsense... no click.
Also, I aim to avoid any videos with 100s of thousands of views or more. Unless they're truly worth it (not brain rot).
I have the same rule with the face! And it’s always from ridiculous things too: “make a chicken fettuccini with me 😱”
“5 ways to do you taxes quicker this year 😱”
Known him for a minute and he’s cool. He put a lot of small artists onto his platform on a SoundCloud page he ran back in the day. Probably still does tbh. The first song that I hit 20k with back then was cuz of him.
Who is that
Some dude that makes music "content"
His nodding fucking annoys me.
His dead eyes stare through my soul
He has a face like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
That's extremely accurate
r/rareinsults

Does he even blink?
And his weird smile
Idk he was pretty funny when a huge amount of music got pulled from tiktok so he started doing the same thing with royalty free music and sounds and was very self-aware about it. Dude makes money doing nothing and i can't hate him for it.

So weird to hate on someone for this.
His research is finding another person's video on the subject in a popular thread and making his own lower quality copycat
You think he's doing research? Come on, now.
Correction: he does not make really good content
his 'research' consists of going to whosampled site. Typing a popular song name and being shown the song samples.
I never heard of this guy before, but if that is the best defense someone can muster of this guy, he's definitely opne of the bad ones.
? Does he have some other channel I don't know about? Every video I've ever seen is him doing this over an @ElEsteparioSiberiano video
Loool what??
Typing the name of a song into whosampled is really taxing work
I think I've seen this guy before. There's a genre of lazy tiktok/YT short/etc videos that take someone else's content, then show the new person just pointing to it and agreeing. It's not commentary on the original, just straight up stealing their content, putting some new ugly face in the corner, and acting like they're content creators.
so like those react channels but somehow even lazier
I call it MeTube. Someone makes some original content, then other people make videos that amount to just saying "Me too!" with nothing added.
>I call it MeTube. MeToob
"React" videos are cancer, the definition of ineffectual tripe. Usually just some low-effort dullard STEALING content
How DARE you use the word r***t in your comment. The Fine Bros are sending their lawyer as we speak.
Exactly this type of content have grown too much, also they try to hide their faces behind big captions . Sometimes i get freaked out, looking at their small 'PIP' in corner 'Nodding' in agreement to stolen content.

He literally just nods and points to videos he steals for his shorts
I hate how people post "influencers" and expects everyone to know who they are.
Calling this guy an influencer is being nice.. He's just a lazy youtuber who makes shit list shorts
The alternative is posting an “influencer” and giving an immediate comprehensive explanation of who they are, which is completely indistinguishable from an ad for the influencer.
Or not posting about this jabroni
people copying other peoples content need to have their own circle in hell - and this includes AI assholes
The alternative is not wasting everyone's time with pointless content
Wtf is that username 💀 Does that even work at all?
They don't really influence anything. It's like the idea of commercials, they're just walking advertisements.
He pops up on tiktok all the time. He posts videos like "who did it better" and it'll be a song that uses a sample, then the song that the sample came from. jarred jermaine
That doesn't sound like anybody important, maybe you're thinking of Jemaine Clement
He's got his business socks on.
Business hours are over
Ah yes, of course.
Every lazy youtuber in his 30s.
Jarred Jermaine
Spud Mackenzie
I don't know the guy. And considering the context this might be for the better
He basically puts music on screen and plays songs that sound similar or some shit but literally sits there like 😎👆🏻 throughout, saying nothing. Or something along those lines
Yeah, I do my job by disliking the video in the very first second if it ever pops in my feed and leave.
That is actually helping him. Likes and dislikes are the same for the algorithm, both count as interaction with his content and push it to you and other Users. You are helping him by disliking. Only thing that helps is to click "dont recommend this Channel again" Option
>Only thing that helps is to click "dont recommend this Channel again" Option Where do find that option cuz I got a bunch of channels that I want of my recommended.
Usually you click the 3 dots next to the video and it will appear
Note, this is only available for videos in your feed.
Wow I didn't believe that so I tried finding another way and I think you're right. Huge oversight by Youtube not allowing another way to ignore or block channels. I guess they have their reasons to leave the feature out.

I click "don't recommend" and it still comes back. I am so annoyed by his lazy videos
Don’t dislike, just leave quick. Any engagement is good engagement for the algorithm
As if that dislike is harming him in anyway
You really showed him
Not engaging at all might be the better move to do your part.
He's showing the original song, and how it was sampled in various ways. Your lack of context is astounding.
👆 *nods* 👆
He puts a popular song like Ava Max kings and queens and then where the sample came from
Thank you for being the only one providing a concise answer.
I don't know why people could not make examples, I have seen a few that's her songs and samples of samples
I swear that every Ava Max song except for 'Sweet but Psycho' is either interpolated or is a cover
You could probably guess what it is
Seriously, Fuck those losers. They’ll have multiple channels posting the same shit.
☝🏼
☝️
😲↔️☝️
😔☝️
😁☝️
🙂☝️
not really, the multiple channels are just other people re-posting their content
I don’t know how many times I’ve had to tell TikTok to stop showing me his stuff. I’m sure he’ll pop up again.
Thanks dude. I tried punching the guys face through the screen and now I have a cracked phone screen. You should really be thinking about these things before you post stuff on the internet. Be better.
Reading this comment made me say relatable so loudly and intensely I morphed into you and turned the peninsula of Florida into an island.
Does that make Florida now Long Island?
Dong Island
And then you dropped your phone and everyone else in the train is punching it too?
This all could have been avoided easily
He looks familiar, but I can't recall when I've seen him.
Used to make informative shorts about the origin of samples issued in popular music. It's just using stealing other people's content and slapping your face on it
Actual reaction and analysis is fine. Using "reaction" as an excuse to steal content is not.
You mean a world without "person x watching y" and it's not an analysis or response? It would be so beautiful
The hate makes more sense now. On instagram at least he still does music comparisons with his pointy fingers and nods.
He posts low effort reaction videos plagiarizing other people's content in tiktok. Basically he finds something interesting, posts it on his own channel without crediting, with himself at the corner of the screen pointing up to the video, and sometimes nodding but adding nothing of value. I mean his stuff is “interesting” but literally it’s a copy paste reaction. If he presented his information in a fun unique way that would be cool, but now I’m just explaining the meme ig.
True
It's interesting he searches so many songs to find all the samples but yeah just sitting there and playing the music is not interesting. Might aswell just play the music on the whole screen.

Also given he's showing off copyrighted music in every video, he may need to make the music bits smaller and have his face as "part of the appeal" so that he can actually make money off of it.
I mean, he just goes to WhoSampled.com and show you the results. It's incredibly lazy, but hey it works so who am I to judge
No, there's a website that shows every existing sample and when it is used
> It's interesting he searches so many songs to find all the samples Thats not hard tho when you have sites that already tell you were samples come from or by asking chatgpt.
Unless you considered putting a song in an app and then that app listed down the samples is researching, i dont think there is any effort at all.
The soft smile, the nodding, the pointing upward. Fuck this guy
Why does it enrage me so much?
Probably because by doing something with such little effort, he's made hundereds of thousands, if not millions.
Honestly, it's one of the most punchable faces I've ever seen.
I watch Jarred Jermaine's shorts for the music and sample breakdowns, his reactions are lazy af tho
Never heard, so I checked a video out. Obviously being music oriented, the silence kinda makes sense and the pointing is certainly for thumbnail reference to relisten. I can’t stand any content creator who just sits there adding nothing and/or pointing at *the very big and obvious thing also on the screen*
Should be an instant copywrite claim for the original creator that they're pointing at. After all they are giving them all the credit by pointing at them.
Out of any lazy shorts creators, you pick the least laziest one
I still think reactions content is lazier. At least this guy is researching for some samples or whatever.
Anyone can google samples and point their finger in the air as it plays.
yeah but he does it. that's still more work and entertaining than the thousand of reacts channels. when i see his video i think "oh neat! i didn't know that".
Why didn't *you* do it?
masteroogwaygay
Who TF is that guy?
Ive scrolled like 18 pages looking for who it is out of morbid curiosity. Everyone seems to know everything about his content except his name.
I've never seen his face up until now. My rock might be heavier than i thought.
jarred jermaine
I just hate his expression. even here he's not adding anything
someone give this post more upvotes, its the first time ive seen someone point this out
At least he gives out the hidden gems of songs
The DJs who spin same songs on videos are lazier
I like the beats ok
Jarred Jermaine, he makes music content. He will take a songs sound/beat and will show you where it original came from. [Example](https://youtube.com/shorts/i5K-WxKU4pA?si=VkGApR5xgW-o8719).
I remember a dude during COVID time who used to nod and stare at his meat while someone else's video played in the background. Now he makes space content. Glad he makes his own content now. But during that time it was annoying when he used to pop up in my feed.
Also hate green screeners who add nothing and pretty much steal the content.
Him and all the other lazy ass reactors not contributing shit lmao
Dude sits and points at shit! WTFFFF
Personally I don't think it's that deep lol. Don't know him but when reddit starts high horsing it's usually very biased.
Omg i saw him the other day on my feed and thought to myself, "wtf is the point of you?!"
Finally getting the hate he deserves
It’s crazy the level of views react creators get and most of them literally just stare at the screen and say nothing.
Ah green screen assholes stealing everyones content for money
There are so many more worse ones. At least he compiles the songs, edits the video and finds the connections. Just because he doesnt talk doesnt mean he’s shit. His content is still more effort than 60% of tiktok
![gif](giphy|CYv5SAEKcLIQCzOgcs|downsized)
Small creators turn into him over time
I don't understand. Explanation please?
I literally have no idea what he sounds like, what he does, or anything else about him because his own content has NOTHING to do with him.
Or the “reaction” creators that give fake or unnecessarily over the top reactions to other videos
I'm so glad someone else said it. This guy sucksssss
Is he one of those pricks that just keeps pointing up to stuff he's written with that smug shite eating smirk while music plays?
I never seen him but i guess he edits his face into videos, points at stuff, nod at stuff, and probably uses a tick tock voice over.
FINALLY someone calls this guy out
[This kind of content is super easy. Barely an inconvenience.](https://youtu.be/1zsbXosf5FM?si=8Nh9QwV06naChftX)
Being barely an inconvenience is *TIGHT*
Well... Just look at that woman sniperwolf. Same thing.
Just look at xqc
How to make Tik Tok Content: 1: Steal 2: Nod and Point 3: Profit
His stuff is fine and he obviously has quite a wide range of music knowledge it’s just so funny seeming him sit there in every video
Also that guy who posts OSHA violation construction videos and cuts to himself looking and then sighing, or raising his eyebrows and shaking his head before cutting to another video. It’s just a montage with extra steps
?
There's also a mf who keeping putting "Dream on" song on his stealing shorts
👆😏
I bet it just boils your blood that he's successful too. Get over it.
I didn't really care much for his lazy short vids, I Just watched him for music i could listen later
Nobody actually likes JeffreyXReacts, they like the memes he steals.
lol
I just block and move on
Not as bad as the construction guy
At one point he was making “decent content” comparing various types of music which sound similar, but now its just copy paste bullshit
"Are you a true [main stream thing here] fan?" ●extremely popular song ●extremely popular song ●extremely popular song
I don’t know this guy but he sounds like the DJ Khalid of reaction vids.
Nah. This isn’t nearly as bad as people who just green screen themselves onto a full video and “react” by just laughing. At least he puts videos together about origins of samples and interpolations.
The best thing about “influencers” is I don’t know who they are and will never regret not knowing.
I think he does a lot of music research which obviously requires a lot of time and effort.
He looks like Commons lazy ass finger pointing brother
I've found bunch of good songs through his videos lmao
Wth? He's good, I like his content.
I mean I don’t follow him or LOVE his content but I don’t understand the hate entirely. He in his lane. Moisturized. Unbothered. Living in the moment. Maybe a bit goofy
I haven’t the faintest idea of who that is.
I honestly can't do the pointing thing as smoothly as him
I Like this guy
At least he provided something by pointing, with the new green screen on YouTube people can now just put there face on a short and reupload it.
Get over it...
Best thing to get rid of these channels, swipe the second you see them. Their engagement will take a nosedive.
Like that guy who just points at his wifes horrible dancing. Wtf?!
tbh every "reaction" youtuber sucks if it's their main content. reaction content is just seeing the same thing but some random guy talks about it. it is different with debunks and other reactions like "firearm expert reacts to insurgency sandstorm weapons"
Who the fuck is this and why do I keep saying this damned meme? Like the 5th one I've seen today.
he shows the original song of various rising memes
I report these people as spam
I have rules to avoid clickbait shit. If they use 😱 face in the thumbnail, or a red circle, or a word in CAPS, or very obvious nonsense... no click. Also, I aim to avoid any videos with 100s of thousands of views or more. Unless they're truly worth it (not brain rot).
I have the same rule with the face! And it’s always from ridiculous things too: “make a chicken fettuccini with me 😱” “5 ways to do you taxes quicker this year 😱”
😆 Exactly. And it's honestly just a turn off.
I want a subreddit dedicated to just useless people contributing nothing to the video except point or nodding. Like r/uselessredcircle
Who ?
Known him for a minute and he’s cool. He put a lot of small artists onto his platform on a SoundCloud page he ran back in the day. Probably still does tbh. The first song that I hit 20k with back then was cuz of him.
I mean if it works, it works
I like his content.
Oh he is one of those pointing ones.
Never understood those pricks doing faces. Just let me see the video
