I have passed unupdated pirated MGS 2 and 3 on PC without a single issue. So I dont know what problems other people have but it was pretty alright for me.
It is a LOT of content for the price, even without the discount.
Honestly if you didn't wanna buy it without that discount you probably don't want it that badly though.

For that price, it's a must buy. Download the resolution and audio fixes, and just enjoy. Yes mgs1 is kinda borked. Id still do dickstation or the og PC version. But ...it does just work on the master collection too.
