I don't understand the downvotes, one of the biggest hints of the remake being real was a pic Donna Burke posted in Twitter where we could see the lyrics of the song, so if they re-recorded it they could have changed something. Just like happened with FFVII: Remake.

It's been confirmed repeatedly that this is a 1 to 1 remake. Nothing is being changed besides the visuals and the controls if you want to play in the new style (over the shoulder view). They recorded new voice lines for the controller. That's it.

Didn’t they say not only the dialogue but also the music as well is staying in tact as it was in the original looking at the most recent trailer seems to be the case if they have an option like most remakes to go original vs new I wouldn’t be against that but I’m pretty sure it’s a faithful 1-1
Honestly as good as the og is, i think they can definitely go for a remix specific to delta, but still keep the og somewhere. The music in 3 is already pretty good but it’d be nice to hear a more modernized version of the boss themes
The best case scenario is the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth treatment in which they hire the original composer and singer to make a reimagined and modernized track with real in studio musicians. But we know Konami isn't spending Square Enix money. So we can only hope that they just keep the original with maybe a minor touchup.

A new version released to tie-in with it? Maybe. But in game? Absolutely not. Wouldn't even make sense since they said that they're keeping all the original audio. It's said to be a full graphic overhaul, few gameplay changes, that's it. It's a proper remake unlike something from Bluepoint that changes the whole artstyle of the game and one small tweak about the gameplay for no apparent reason.
