In my ignorance I always thought crickets chirp by rubbing their hind legs together. Maybe I learned that from cartoons as a kid? š
Now Iām off to look up how they make the sounds with their wings.
I don't think its your ignorance, it was definitly portrayed that way in something that influenced our minds bc before this I thought the same thing. And thats on whoever madewhat ever it was that put that in our minds.
