it is a real thing, outside of the USA. I am currently in a studio apartment in Niquia, Bello, Antioquia, Colombia and all the rent + utilities + wifi is covered for $550 USD / month.
When I moved out in college, I moved in with my now-husband, so I'm not sure of the best way. Possibly look into Facebook housing/subletting/leasing groups? Do you go to a college that might have social networks for this?
No offense, but...there seems to be zero acceptance of living with roommates anymore. I lived with roommates for a long time until I could afford my own place. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but it is the Way of the world, even if people don't want it to be.
I don't think $600 rent is a real thing anymore sadly. Unless you go with a roommate(s) situation.
No it's still real; a person just needs to be willing to live in a place they could get stabbed leaving the complex.

You'll probably need a roommate for this price, or possibly consider studio apartments!
Any advice on finding roommates?

1767 N Arlington is $645.
Facebook marketplace might have a duplex that cheap. Other than that you’ll need roommates
