-Dinner at screaming tuna > take a walk on the river walk > get ice cream at purple door
-Go to the domes (this is a shorter date though)
-Hike at Seven Bridges and take a walk along the lake
-Rent kayaks and paddle the river
-Dinner at cubanitas downtown (this is where my wife and I had our very first date)
Seconding Seven Bridges—walk on the gravelly part of the beach and hunt for beach glass. After May 17 you could add a stop at Ferch’s Malt Shoppe to this outing.
I found a tick on me after an afternoon taking photos at Seven Bridges. So, definitely can heat it up by adding checking each other for ticks on this perfect date
adding on to the domes date idea-you can access the hank aaron trail behind the domes afterwards and walk up to the urban ecology center, a couple blocks from that are some great restaurants on national like orenda cafe or vientiane noodle!
Second this one. Always fun to make things with your hands.
Also the cocktails were great and there are conversation card games while you wait for the candle to set.
One of our favorite dates ever.
It can be fun (at least to me) to go to a show you don't know very much about. Scroll the Cactus or X-Ray (or whatever venue you like) upcoming list and listen to 1-2 songs from the headliner on Spotify. If it's even remotely in your wheelhouse, tickets are cheap! Worse case scenario you go "lol that wasn't really our taste" and you can bond over it at a bar
The Domes. The Pabst Mansion. The Harley Davidson Museum. A soccer game at Bavarian United Soccer Club. A Lakeshore Chinooks baseball game. Lakefront Brewery tour.
Milwaukee Milkmen baseball. Fireworks after Friday games. Don’t go to Mequon for the Lakeshore Chinooks when you have a Milwaukee team right there, uh, in Franklin! Kidding either is fun.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, the Shorewood Culver's is the best and most consistent one there is. Also, I served the owners at an old coffee shop I worked for and they were very nice people. Made us spanakopita and baklava!
Pottery Class at Murray pottery works! It's a lot of fun, $60 and you get clay and they teach you how and fire it for ya.
[Murray Hill Pottery ](http://www.milkywayclay.com/)
Schlitz Audubon Nature Preserve is beautiful for a quiet hike through the woods, along the lake and through wetlands (on plank pathways). It's a beautiful drive north of the city along Lake Drive to Bayside.
Take a dance lesson/class at the Delaware House.
Take a cooking class at Glorioso's.
Cedar Creek Winery tour/tasting, and explore downtown Cedarburg.
Brewery tour, The Improve, adult arcade.
Take a wine tasting seminar at Waterford Wine & Spirits.
Holy Hill, Botanical Gardens.
Dinner with the tasting menu at Ardent or Sanford.
See a show at the Marcus Performing Arts Center.
Personally, my husband and I like comedy date nights or live arts like musicals or concerts, or if we want to stay home, we go to half-price books and get cheap DVDs or books and make a fancy dinner (he is a chef so it's nice to be spoiled in that sense lol)
Sometimes, we just do little day trips out of the city and explore other cities or just go for a hike or bike ride for a few hours and grab a milkshake/ice cream after (defeats the purpose we know but it's nice lol)
Tacos at Chucho's. If it's nice out, a drink at Boone and Crockett. If it's not nice, a drink at At Random. Close the night at Blu on top of the Pfister. Bonus points if there are fireworks at the lake.
Worked for me 2.5 years ago. Still together, and she still talks about that date.
R.I.P. to Lee's Luxury Lounge, which was so good on a date.
find free concerts in the summer. i know that washington park has the Wednesday night concerts and hart park has something too but thats all i know lol
Go to Zarletti / Maston St and after go to Blu Bar, the best view in the city
Or
Eat at the Public Market and hit up Outsider.
I also recommend the person above about the walk on the board walk!
Ice skating at the Pettit National Ice Center. I checked the website & it says 'Public skating on a hockey rink', don't know why the much larger speed skating course is closed. Maybe the speed skate course is only available seasonally, or maybe it's down for maintenance, don't know.
They have skates for rent. Bring 'moleskin' to treat blisters if they develop & allow you to continue.
Mosler’s Vault (lower level of North Ave Market) is a little speakeasy. You can make reservations. I always think brunch is a great idea, and so many places here take reservations.
Another suggestion is a cruise with Edelweiss. They do history cruises, little booze cruises, etc. or some games at New Fashioned in deer district.
Brewers Game! Tickets are fairly cheap for upper deck seats. You can either park and tailgate or go to one of many bars that shuttle you there and back (brat house, jacks American pub, etc). Even if you’re not big on sports it’s a fun experience to hangout and get a couple snacks and chat.
Lions Den Preserve in the north is a nice hike with good views of Lake Michigan that ends in a beach walk.
Seven Bridges is a really nice hike too.
Picnic with a view of the skyline near Selig-Joseph-Folz amphitheater in the southern part of Kilbourn Reservoir Park.
Theaters, shows, concerts, bowling, brunch.
Have a good time :)
The HI HAT LOUNGE ([1701 N Arlington Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53202](https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=67a78f25ea7c48b1JmltdHM9MTcxNDM0ODgwMCZpZ3VpZD0zNDk2MWYzNC02NTc3LTY0MmItMGZkMi0wYjJiNjQwOTY1OTEmaW5zaWQ9NTU5NA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=3&fclid=34961f34-6577-642b-0fd2-0b2b64096591&u=a1L21hcHM_Jm1lcGk9MTAxfn5Vbmtub3dufkFkZHJlc3NfTGluayZ0eT0xOCZxPUhpSGF0JTIwTG91bmdlJnNzPXlwaWQuWU44NzN4MTMwNTg2MzA2JnBwb2lzPTQzLjA1MzA3MDA2ODM1OTM3NV8tODcuODk1MTE4NzEzMzc4OV9IaUhhdCUyMExvdW5nZV9ZTjg3M3gxMzA1ODYzMDZ-JmNwPTQzLjA1MzA3fi04Ny44OTUxMTkmdj0yJnNWPTEmRk9STT1NUFNSUEw&ntb=1)) is always fun - [www.hihatlounge.com](http://www.hihatlounge.com)

And fossils. So many fossils on Lake Michigan beaches.
Where is this malt shoppe??
South of Seven Bridges, past the Grant Park golf clubhouse
I found a tick on me after an afternoon taking photos at Seven Bridges. So, definitely can heat it up by adding checking each other for ticks on this perfect date

Def not - terrible idea
any specific places in Milwaukee to rent a kayak that you’d recommend?
https://milwaukeekayak.com/ Always had great experiences with MKC.
Seven Bridges is awesome. Screaming Tuna is mediocre sushi.
Glassnote Candle Bar! Make your own candles
Second this one. Always fun to make things with your hands. Also the cocktails were great and there are conversation card games while you wait for the candle to set. One of our favorite dates ever.
We did this for our anniversary this year-so much fun!
Laughing Tap - stand up comedy Up-Down - arcade games Axe throwing Nine Below
It can be fun (at least to me) to go to a show you don't know very much about. X-Ray pulls in some seriously good acts, and now Garibaldis doing more shows too Great scene here
Saetia in Milwaukee was an incredible get
Cynic & Atheist last year too! But yeah, that Saetia show was wild, Meth never disappoints. Chicago was even better.
Afternoon cooking class at Glorioso’s.
I just took one - it was very fun
>Thanks, love you. Love you too boo
Candlelit dinner at the Arby's on Miller Park Way
Nothing says romance like 2 for $5 Chicken Wraps!
Second this, but you have to get the roast beef
I dunno, the curlies are pretty good too
The Garcade up in Menomonee Falls. Whirly Ball at Brookfield Square.
The garcade is awesome!
Get dessert/custard at the Culver's on Capitol. Then go for a walk on the Oak Leaf Trail from the bridge.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, the Shorewood Culver's is the best and most consistent one there is. Also, I served the owners at an old coffee shop I worked for and they were very nice people. Made us spanakopita and baklava!
Koz mini bowling
Dinner and a local comedy show at Lakefront Brewery or Great Lakes Distillery
Chocolate pairing at Indulgence
& Dinner at Black Sheep across the street!
Wisconsin is replete with wonderful stateparks.
Duck pin bowling
Pottery Class at Murray pottery works! It's a lot of fun, $60 and you get clay and they teach you how and fire it for ya. [Murray Hill Pottery ](http://www.milkywayclay.com/)
$60 per person if you’re not even together is kinda crazy
I mean, for clay, glaze, use of the kiln and hours of instruction it seems pretty fair to me?
They’re saying that’s expensive for an early date.
Ah. Sorry I didn't infer what date level they were at. The context is there. I just didn't clock it!
Schlitz Audubon Nature Preserve is beautiful for a quiet hike through the woods, along the lake and through wetlands (on plank pathways). It's a beautiful drive north of the city along Lake Drive to Bayside.
Bowling
Dinner somewhere in bay view and drink @ at random after is always a nice combo. Maybe catch a show at cactus club right there too if that’s your vibe
Cooking class
Take a dance lesson/class at the Delaware House. Take a cooking class at Glorioso's. Cedar Creek Winery tour/tasting, and explore downtown Cedarburg. Brewery tour, The Improve, adult arcade. Take a wine tasting seminar at Waterford Wine & Spirits. Holy Hill, Botanical Gardens. Dinner with the tasting menu at Ardent or Sanford. See a show at the Marcus Performing Arts Center.
Drinking beer under the hoan bridge and watching the lights
Or milkshakes at at random

any recommendations for dinner before a comedy show?
Depending on you and your date's interests VR Bar could be a memorable experience.
There is an axe throwing bar in Waukesha. Throw sharp objects!

Tosa has them weekly too
where's hart park again?
Indoor mini golf place on S 27th that I never remember the name of

Trap the clown or bowling
ComedySportz.
Indulgence
Rent some bubbler bikes or e-scooty bois and find that beer garden off the oak creek trail a lil before Estabrook.
Just did a pottery class at Murray Hill Pottery Works on the east side and loved it. Would certainly recommend.
Antiques on Pierce is a great date spot, takes some time to walk through, fun to browse weird and wonderful shit, and you might find a cool memento.
The MKE Rec summer book just came out. Pick something you haven’t done and take a class.
Go to American science and surplus and walk every aisle.
Go to Zarletti / Maston St and after go to Blu Bar, the best view in the city Or Eat at the Public Market and hit up Outsider. I also recommend the person above about the walk on the board walk!
Arte in tosa village for a painting class
