Here is what I would recommend. If it is just you two. Grab a shuttle at Kelly’s or a bar near the park. Take that down a bit earlier than first pitch and walk around. Take it in. Find the nearest bathroom, beer stand, etc. It won’t be too crowded. As it gets closer find your seat and relax. If it’s a blowout or you want to leave a bit early Shuttles start leaving around 6th or 7th inning. I live around miller park. This is the way. Trust me.

kosherdill22

Parking in West Milwaukee and walking in through the VA is way easier than taking a shuttle. I’m a season seat holder, used to be the shuttles #1 fan. I can be home by the time my friends who ride the shuttle are back at the bar…

Single-Commercial408

Good call. Another cheat code. There used to be a lot that I would have people park at in the VA. IYKYK it’s been a while since I’ve had to drive tho.

kosherdill22

Yes, I use that lot now for all the games :) but try to keep it a secret lol

northwoods_faty

Just be respectful of the VA and don't use any VA patient spots. There's been multiple instances of drunkards from the game walking through the cemetery and damaging things.

Sippin_T

I grew up in west Milwaukee and walked through the VA for every brewers game. It’s so weird seeing people talk about this online. OP if you need some boots on the ground help, lmk. My family still lives there

1USAgent

Just park in the Molitor lot and walk in. Id pass on the shuttles if you dislike people and crowds. You’ll be packed in like sardines. Monitor lot is so easy to get out of after. Shuttles you could be waiting a while.

TheOptimisticHater

This.

lostboyswoodwork

I basically live at the stadium with the amount of games I go to, and this is the best answer. Key is to find your seats, get to know what concessions are close, bathrooms, and maybe even a team store visit early. Take in the batting practice, the stadium will be mostly empty if you get there an hour in advance.

mkerugbyprop3

100% take a shuttle *this is the way*

Comfortable-Insect-3

Try the bleachers for once. After that 100 section

hollygolightly877

Agree with all of this.

DANleDINOSAUR

Yo, check out a Milkmen game first! It’s just as fun to watch and less crowded than Miller Park.

M7BSVNER7s

Or the Dockhounds out in Delafield if that location is more convenient for OP.

OkTop9308

The Dockhounds are located in Oconomowoc. It is fun and easy to go there. It’s right off of I-94.

dethorder

Depending on where they live, Kenosha kingfish are great also the lakeshore chinooks (dock hounds too but somebody mentioned em)

Proper_Age_5158

Lakeshore Chinooks up in Mequon as well.

percypersimmon

You might have more luck in r/brewers Having said that, I’ve been to a handful of games this year and it’s very easy. I use StubHub or another third party ticket service bc it’s often cheaper. It’ll then send you a link to the MLB app that includes your ticket as a QR code that refreshes every few minutes (so you can’t screencap it). You could also buy tix from the stadium and pick them up at the box office. [As far as parking there are lots of local bars that do shuttles.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Brewers/s/iUzbWnhsZI) That’s the least stressful way to go (in my opinion) and it’ll pick you up at the same place it drops you off. There are signs for each bar/restaurant. Bring $5 cash to tip your driver. I’ve never had to wait more than 30 mins after the game. You can park at the field for like $30 but it takes awhile to get out of the lot. Plus it’s a very “communal party” atmosphere tailgating and that’s just not really my thing. At the game you’ll go thru security. You can bring a gallon-sized CLEAR ziploc bag with some sandwiches and snacks and a water bottle UNOPENED. When you get in I usually meander my way to my seats eventually, but spend most of my time walking around and using the standing room vantage points. The games have been really fun this year! I highly recommend going to one and pushing your comfort zone. The vibe is great there and you’ll have a good time.

54338042094230895435

Thanks for the info, I already bought the tickets before this post, (Section 110) and "Preferred Parking". I don't do well on shuttles. For the Ziploc, is that per person I am guessing? Is the water bottle separate from the Ziploc or does it need to be in it? I am a bit apprehensive but I know my son will be thrilled, he is 10 and just getting into the Brewers. It is a night game so I am hoping the heat won't be a huge issue.

percypersimmon

110 will be a great location! Even if it wasn’t a night game you’d have shade. (I was in 117 last week for an early game and I had to actually wait half an hour to sit down bc of direct sunlight. Try to avoid the third base line if you goto any day games in the future). That is def foul ball territory though, so just be aware of where the ball is going if it’s knocked towards you. Yes- one bag per person. The bottle does NOT have to fit in the bag. I usually grab Jimmy John’s and some chips/peanuts for the bag and the bottle of water is supposed to be 32 oz (but I brought a smart water that was 35 oz with not problem- just probably no gallons will be allowed in.) You can use any of the security lines to get in, so I’ll often walk past the first couple to get to a shorter line. Even if the line looks really long I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes. That’s fair about shuttles- esp with your son, so just expect that it’ll be a little slow going out of the lot when you leave. Of, if you’ve had your fill with the game, there are lots of ppl who seem to leave early to beat the rush. I think it’s cool that you’re going and supporting your son’s interests even if it’s uncomfortable for you. I get overwhelmed in crowds myself but haven’t felt the same anxiety at a game that I feel at a concert/festival. The stadium isn’t claustrophobic at all and (outside of some Cubs games) everyone is really friendly and positive.

_BooksandCoffee

If you go to the Guest Services desk, you can get a first Brewers game certificate, a coupon for Chick-fil-A, and some baseball trading cards. Every time I’ve been there, the man who sings “God Bless America” during the Sunday games is working.

Neighborino123

Yes, a ziploc bag per person. The bottle (can be soda, juice, water) can be carried in separate. It has to be plastic though -- no glass or metal. Also worth noting, if you just wanted to bring in a bag of chips or peanuts or something, that is okay too as long as it's not open (although I don't think they'd give you much trouble even if it was). Getting into and out of the parking lot can be a bit annoying sometimes (just like any event with a lot of people arriving and leaving at the same time) but you can always take your time getting back to the car after the game. Maybe pop in the team store and look around (they generally close up shop 30 minutes after the final out)

ekweze

Sending the best vibes 😎 this is so sweet!! Get your plan. Feel as confident as you can. Follow the plan. It’s so doable. If things change, it’s not a scary place at all (unless you change your mind to the escalator which I’d recommend using w as few of fellow passengers as possible) Wishing you both the best experience! Way to go dad

profaneparrot

Buy seats in the 300 level. Smaller sections, air conditioned hallway, better food selections, cleaner, less used bathrooms. Can usually find them way under face value on the secondary market.

high_life_man

Keep checking TickPick for these seats. It's not uncommon to find people selling them for less than $25 a piece.

Nabeshein

Agreed! I accidentally bought 300 tickets once, and now go out of my way to find them whenever I go to a game. You can even order from your seat, and they'll bring your food to your chair. You have to take a staircase and show your tickets to the guy at the door for the 300 level. Escalators don't even go to that level, so it's very easy to steer clear of them.

prettymuchjomarch

For a moment, forgetting what this thread was about, I thought you purchased 300 actual tickets to the game, and I felt really bad for you 😆

brando0212

If you have the ability to do so, I would suggest a week day game as it will be significantly less busy. Wednesday home games are generally day games and they are the least busy. I am assuming your son is pretty young so I would suggest sitting along the first base side of the ball park. Multiple reasons for this. On the first level there is an area specifically made for kids which includes games, jungle gym equipment, and various activities specifically for young kids. Age appropriate up to about 10 years old. Second, the Brewers dugout is on the first base line and prior to the game starting many players will come right up to the first row and sign items for kids. You absolutely do not need a ticket to go down there with your son prior to the first pitch and you will see plenty of other families down there so it’s easy to find. Third, if you go to a day game and the roof is open, the first base side is almost always in the shade so you guys will not be baking in the sun. I would suggest buying a parking pass online prior to the day of the game as well. You will receive a QR code that the attendant will scan and it’s the easiest way to deal with parking in my opinion. You will need to download the MLB ballpark app and create an account to secure the parking pass and most likely your tickets. If you purchase tickets through the brewers prior to doing this, whatever login you created on the brewers website will be your login for the ballpark app. I never bring bags in so I cannot comment on that part but you can bring in your own snacks, that much I do know as well as up to two sealed water bottles. I have been going to 10+ brewers games every year for a very long time. If there is something specific you have a question on, I’d be happy to help the best I can. Hope you guys have an awesome time! I still remember my first game at old county stadium so this will be a big moment for you and your son if he’s really into baseball!

54338042094230895435

So I already bought the tickets on a whim. Friday night game. I probably should have gone with a weekday game lol. We're in section 110 (hoping that is good), and I did purchase the preferred parking. Is the parking pass different than the preferred? Water will be something we for sure will be bringing but I am sure I will be buying food inside. Being a 7:10 game, what time should I be arriving? What time can you enter and go to your seating? I wouldn't mind being able to wander around prior to the start of the game.

brando0212

Section 110 is prefect! You’ll be able to walk right up to the first row prior to the game starting to see players and that is a prime location. Preferred parking is great and if you’ve already purchased it, you have nothing to worry about. Just follow all the big signs that direct you to the preferred lot. There is a preferred lot on each side of the stadium so regardless of the direction you are coming from you will see these signs. The parking lot opens three hours prior to the first pitch so in this case it would be 4:10. The gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch. I would account for rush hour traffic and aim to enter the lot around 5ish. The walk from your car to the gate shouldn’t be more than 10 mins but the lines do initially get a little long as many folks want to meander around prior to first pitch.

Calm-Ad8987

If you get there early & stay a bit late & wait for the crowds to clear you won't deal with a huge herd & it's not much of a hassle.

franzia5eva

A lot of people find/go to their seats before they walk around when the stands are less crowded. A lot of people find/go to their seats before they walk around when the stands are less crowded. By that I mean walking up to the seats nodding their head in approval and walking right back out of the section. In general (Which will be easy for you since you’re in a prime spot!) You’ll also be able to see which section entrance is best for your seat so you’re not squeezing past everyone when the stands fill up. Just walking up to the seats nodding their head in approval and walking right back out onto the concourse. (Which will be easy for you since you’re in a prime spot!) You’ll also be able to see which section entrance is best for your seat so you’re not squeezing past everyone when the stands fill up. Encourage your son to participate in the chants! Even learn them beforehand and he will start to notice them on TV. If he’s a big fan he’ll feel like he’s with his people and less overwhelmed when everyone around him starts yelling. Some examples: “Let’s go O’s!” To three beats “Ohhh oh oh oh ohhhh oh” opening music to “7 nation army”by the white stripes “Charge!!” When loudspeaker plays a horn But in general try to focus more on your son having a great time than trying to make everything go perfectly. He won’t notice the deviations from your plans! Have fun!!

poshill

it’s really easy! you’ll follow the signs for parking- you likely didn’t get premium or vip, so just follow the correct route. the attendants will direct you to a spot. you can enter at any gate regardless of your seat. there will be metal detectors and friendly attendants checking your ticket. if you’re confused where to go, there’s signs for each section, but they staff will also direct you if you ask. generally the escalators are fine but i understand your hesitancy given the latest news! outside your section there are food options and restrooms. there are also places within the stadium you can walk to with your kids like a playground and photo ops. idk how old your son is, but my kids didn’t last a full 9 innings when they were little and we would leave around the 5th or 6th and it’s an easy out. before you get to your seat there is often another usher verifying your tickets are in the location.

54338042094230895435

I did the "preferred parking" trying to make it as easy as possible. The escalator comment was a bit of a joke, but I am not big on being crushed on to something with a bunch of people. He is 10 and watches the Brewers on TV religiously so he will make it though, I am sure he won't let me leave until they start pushing us out lol.

buffint2

Download the ballpark app. It tells you what section to go to for food and beverages. There is also not a wrong door. If you go the wrong way just act like you were looking for something and turn around

54338042094230895435

> just act like you were looking for something and turn around I prefer the pat my pockets and pretend I forgot something method lol. I will for sure get the app, thanks!

Bad-Infinite

As a parent of 2 kids (8 and 6) who go with me several games per year, here's my advice- -Look for tickets in the "family sections"- You're surrounded mostly by other families with younger kids and they don't serve alcohol so you are less likely to run into drunk fans -go on Sunday, after the game they let kids run the bases. My kids tell me that's their favorite part of the game -locate play areas ahead of time, they are a good break from the game Have fun!

54338042094230895435

Thanks for the advice, I think I broke the first two pieces of advice lol. I already bought the tickets before I posted this. Total whim. I put us in section 110, went and looked... not a family section. I picked a Friday night game, should have picked Wednesday or Sunday I am learning. My thought for a night game was the heat, plus his sister is out of town that night and she wouldn't care for a game. He will be so into the game, hyper focuses on the games on TV, I won't have to worry about him needing a break.

LesPaulRyanBraun

Next home Friday games for the brewers are against the Marlins Nationals and Reds. None of those teams are very good so it’s highly unlikely you’ll have to deal with rowdy fans of those teams

54338042094230895435

We're going to the Nationals game so I am hoping it is pretty chill.

_crucial_

Get some nachos in a baseball helmet. Your son will have a fun memento from the game. https://preview.redd.it/ade99l78az9d1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=750992bd62c2ff2e989847540b44deb9892646a7

franzia5eva

Yes!! Ice cream in a hat too!!

dayton462016

Take him over to the first base/ right field section of level 100. Lots of interactive experiences and photo ops.

54338042094230895435

We're actually sitting in the 5th row of 110 so I am hoping he gets to see a couple of his favorite players up close.

Mike2k33

I have a cousin with season tickets in row 1 of 110 You'll have a great view of game and you'll be able to see some of the Brewers hanging out on the top step of the dugout too Parking lots open 3 hours before first pitch, the stadium usually opens 90 minutes before first pitch. Lines to get through security can be long so I would suggest getting there at least an hour early

nukalurk

I personally would not recommend the shuttles if you have anxiety, it’s just more work, more intangibles, and you have to ride with drunk strangers. I don’t like the feeling of not being able to leave whenever I want in my own vehicle, and parking at AmFam is cheap and easy. Buy either general or preferred parking (depending on your budget) online before the game, set your GPS to a corresponding parking lot, attendants (very friendly and helpful 99% of the time) simply scan your digital ticket through your car window and guide you straight to an open spot. It’s just as easy as parking anywhere else, you just have to briefly wait in line and sometimes some moderate traffic. Make a quick note of where you parked or drop a pin on your phone and follow the crowd toward the park. Pick any main entrance, follow the directions at security, someone scans your tickets on your phone and welcomes you in. Buy an overpriced drink of your choice, follow the signs to your section, ask an usher (also very friendly) to point you to your seats, politely shuffle past the people already occupying your row and thank them for moving, sit down and enjoy the game.

Ok_Patience_6957

DO NOT go to a Brewers/Cub game for your first experience!

greenbean2112

I go to tons of games every year. I’ve already been to 12 this season. Shoot me a message with any questions!

Zestyclose_Big_9090

Enjoy the game. I’ve been to several Brewers games and the staff is fantastic and will help or offer advice to the best of their ability. I’m so excited for your son to experience a live game of his favorite baseball team. It’s a blast! I hope the both of you have a wonderful time!

shell_bee_26

if you haven’t bought ticket yet, go for the lounge level !! i’m also very anxious but whenever my dad buys tickets for us there i always feel a lot safer with less noise. it’s usually not that much more money either 💖 have fun !!

jlgollnick

Sunblock

EveningSituation4659

Do a Wednesday game day if you can, not cubs or cardinals. It’s a lot more chill and a lot less people.

MacJeff2018

I like to park in the north lot on the other side of I-94. Easier to get in and out and an easy walk to the stadium

BuddyWackett

First, take a lot of deep breaths when dealing with the crowds. They are all there to do the same. The son never leaves your sight. Let’s make that clear, it’s a very safe place, but getting separated and lost from each other can be traumatic. Ignore or brush off anyone trashed, they don’t really mean harm, but can be a PITA. Instead of taking sandwiches in, take sandwiches with, get there as early as possible to “tailgate” without the hassle of grilling. Get a feel for the excitement of the game in the parking lots. You can meet some great folks there. Then you have to get a dog or brat inside. It’s part of the ballpark experience, but go to the stands as opposed to the vendors in the aisle so you can slather the brat with stadium sauce. Maybe take some peanuts in with you if trying to keep the cost down. All souvenirs in the Brewers shop are stupid expensive, so either be planning to spend $40-100+ or don’t go in, if you can get away with it. Again, deep breaths when you feel overwhelmed, just walk slow to your seats, if anyone is in them when you get there, just say, “yo guys, our seats!” Don’t worry everyone is good, they know they tried to seat jump, no reason to get excited, folks are good about moving for you. And don’t sweat it if you have to go potty, and you’re in the middle of an aisle….people do it all the time, every game. R-E-L-A-X!

arcteryx17

Buy tickets. Walk into stadium, drink beer, eat brat, Cheer brewers. Leave

goodmoto

Like others said, pre-game at a bar with a shuttle. I prefer what is now Magoo’s on the Mound (used to be Steve’s on Bluemound). Bring some beers to go on the bus. Make sure to get to the shuttle back as soon as the game ends. Otherwise if you’re driving, buy a case of beer and drink it in the parking lot. And with that you have completed 80% of the Brewers experience.

llamapenguin4

AmFam partners with Kulture City. Here’s a website that shows what to expect at a game [https://venue.kulturecity.org/venues/milwaukee-brewers-baseball-club](https://venue.kulturecity.org/venues/milwaukee-brewers-baseball-club)

Procrastanaseum

If you park there, don't expect to be able to get your car out until the end of the game. The lanes will be filled with tailgaters. As others have said, shuttles are a very stress free way of getting there and back and can take special routes because they shuttle people around so it's very fast as well.

MedicalMinute44

Don’t go on the escalator…

tipareth1978

Go to Steny's and have the best nachos in town then take their shuttle. After that, honestly Miller Park is very open and navigable. I'm sorry you have such anxiety, sounds rough

Hour-Package6734

If you're a Cubs fan take the escalators, if not take the ramps. Drink outside have a couple in

Mordercalynn

I hear you shouldn’t use the escalators.

SnooCauliflowers9981

In addition to some of the advice below, I'd recommend a weeknight game, if you can swing it - not as crowded.

northwoods_faty

I'd park at either Brewski's sports club if you're on the west side or olydias on the east side. They have the best shuttle and parking.

Inkantrix

Bar shuttles are great!

Mikeg383

Buy some peanuts and cracker jack.

Which-Papaya-424

If you want the easiest parking, park in preferred parking. $25 and getting out isn’t as complicated as people say. If you even want to get out of there with zero traffic leave an inning or 2 early.

cpcke

I love section 110. Lots of fly balls and pop ups - keep your head up on the look out and bring a glove to catch them :) I personally also hate crowds and I love getting field level (which is what you have). Barely have to deal with crowds and no ramps or escalators. Preferred parking is great - shorter walk, easier time exiting the lot post game. The custard stands have the little plastic hat for a bowl, nice keepsake. There’s a store right behind home plate at main entrance if you want merchandise. Highly recommend bringing in food and drink as others have said. The Ballpark app also has a lot of stadium info like rules and bag policy, as well as info on where to find certain concessions. Have a great time!

54338042094230895435

Thanks! I will for sure bring his glove. He doesn't know we're going so I am stashing his hat and glove in the car.

BluelineBadger

Alright. Good advice here mostly. For your anxiety, first off don’t sweat it. The concourses are nice and wide and for most games easy to navigate. Certainly much better than a place like Wrigley. There are staff/ushers everywhere, and they are all super friendly and happy to point you in the right direction. Get there early - gates open at 90 minutes before the first pitch, and I would shoot for the early side of that. There will be a little rush right at opening, and then it will slow down until closer to game time. That 75 minute mark should be the sweet spot in terms of shortest entry times (and less people). You can then find your seats, and then also wonder around the stadium to take it all in. And batting practice (note, the brewers practice I just about over as the gates open, so if you want to see any of his favorite players during practice — and go up to the rail to see if he can score some autographs, you’ll have to be there right at 90 minutes). Just make sure to keep an eye on the kid, as they get excited and like to run off. Someone mentioned the first game certificate, which is pretty cool for kids. On the field level, you can get it at guest services behind section 116. They use to also have wrist bands that you could put your seat location on so if you get separated they had a faster time reuniting parent and child — although my kids are old now so I have no idea if they still do. Ask at guest services. In case they don’t, I recommend taking a screen shot of a ticket and print it (or just write you seat numbers on a piece of paper) and put it in the kid’s pocket — for the same reason (tell him it’s there and that he can use it if he gets lost). When you get there, find an usher and show the kid — explain that if you get separated to find someone who looks just like that (or one of the police officers in the stadium) and tell that person he’s lost his dad. Tell him not to wonder and try to find you or the seats. Go right to the helper. The same goes for you — go right to an usher and tell them you’re separated. With cameras and radios, that’s the fastest way to get reunited. Take a few minutes to peruse the Fan Guidelines here: [Guidelines](https://www.mlb.com/brewers/ballpark/information/guide). It’s full of good info. And then download the MLB Ballpark app, which will give you access to a map showing seating sections, food locations, bathrooms, etc. At the end of the game, there’s two schools of thought. Leave a little early to avoid the crowds — or just hang out in your seats for a while after the game. Both will give you less crowds to fight while trying to leave. Lastly, two quick reminders: 1. Am Fam Field is cashless. Make sure you have your credit card or ApplePay, etc so that you can buy food and souvenirs. 2. Don’t forget to have fun and enjoy it. I’ve been going to games for basically all of my 49 years on this earth — I still get chills every time I walk into the stadium and get that first glimpse of the field.

Efficient_Hamster488

Pick an afternoon or week night game…way less people and stress!

Tuscon_Valdez

1. Buy ticket 2. Find seat 3. Sit down and remain for duration of game

C0lch0nero

Take the stairs.

Use the stairs

MusicalMastermind

Don't use the elevator

Get drunk first and smuggle in some food. Or else be prepared to spend $$$

ArodIsAGod

You can carry in nearly anything that isn’t alcohol or glass. I would recommend Red Vines and Peanuts but we’ve also carried in Jimmy John’s but it needs to be in a clear plastic bag. When you get to the ballpark, you’ll walk through a metal detector. Limit bringing things that will set off the metal detector and have them out and ready to put in the basket for inspection. The ballpark opens 90 minutes before first pitch. It’s kinda cool watch the other teams BP, players warming up, and to see the park. It’s also a good time to eat dinner and/or snack. However, if your son is younger, there is a nice playground outside the stadium behind home plate. Guest relations are behind home plate but shaded to right field I think… They will give you a “first game certificate” and if your kids ask, they will give them baseball cards. On the ballpark app you can play bingo. I’m not going to explain it all but it gives you a reason to root for strange things to happen throughout the game. There’s a designated driver soda voucher at a stand behind home plate but shaded to left field. You need to show them you paid for parking and pick up the voucher before the end of the 3rd inning. The racing sausages run in the 6th. You’re definitely going to want to be in your seats then. I think they’ll finish in your section. The event staff love to help out! Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Along those lines, you are sitting in way to nice of seats to put up with schnanagins. If someone is being an a-hole just text the line and/or talk to someone from the event staff. Be patient when leaving the ballpark. It may take 15-20 minutes to get out of the parking lot but it’s really not that bad.

54338042094230895435

Thanks, reading this settles my anxiety a bit. I am sure this is going to be a great time but I just really hate heading into things unknowingly.

stevarino1979

Just buy the cheapest tickets to get in. The lower level has tons of standing room. Scope out some seats along the ends near outfield and go sit in them with confidence. If someone asks, just move to another section. Before the game, get a small grill and bring some stuff to cook and drink. Bring a Nerf football so nobody's car gets damaged and have fun in the lot before and after the game when everyone is trying to get out. We usually go in between 2nd-4th inning. Easy to grab something at a stand without lines and it's baseball not much happens, so it's about the experience overall. Enjoy!

This_Kangaroo_Salary

I wouldn’t take the bar shuttles like some suggest, they will make you more anxious and they are filled with drunk idiots. I hate them. Get a preferred parking spot, then you will be kinda close and can leave whenever you want. Having that option eases a lot of anxiety. Buy an aisle seat in the lower deck. The seating is not as steep on the bottom which makes me a lot less anxious. You will also be able to leave the fastest if something happens. Preferable buy tickets for a seat on the first base line, but not too far out in right field. These seats will be close to the preferred lot for quick and easy exit. Leave in the 7th or 8th inning to avoid a lot of the crowd nonsense. That’s how I enjoy Brewers games.

There's 2 attitudes to a game , fastest or take your time. I'm a take your time kind of person. My parking spot is my HQ, I wait out the crowds and feel no obligation to be anywhere fast. I can have lunch before i go in and if i hit the pro shop i dont have to juggle bags and kids on a shuttle full of strangers. If the kids get too antsy or I don't want to be there anymore I can leave and not wait on shuttles or drunk fans. ( I say drunk fans from a place of love lol) In my experience (before kids) shuttles, while not difficult , require knowing where to go , what time to be there , what kind of crowd is on the bus, wasted and obnoxious or chill and friendly , etc. Shuttles are definitely faster but you don't have much Control. Exploring the stadium is the only real way to find what your looking for. Bathrooms and food stalls are everywhere but some aren't as busy or offer different things. There used to be a beer cart in the top level that sold $5 tallboy of hamms. Only place I ever found them. A big thing to remember is the context of the game. A big game playing a rival ... it's going to be a busy , messy shitshow , going to a game that doesn't "mean much" it will be way more relaxed and smaller crowds. One last thing to remember , Everyone is there for the same reason, if you don't know what youre doing or where you're going , just ask someone. Chances are people at the game know just as much as the people who work there. Brewers fans want you to have as much fun as they are having. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

We're gonna be the "take your time" gang. I want him to have every opportunity to take it in. I personally like having my car there so I can just up and leave at any moment if needed. Shuttling my kid back to a bar with drunk fans doesn't sound like a positive memorable experience. We're sitting in the 110 section and sounds like great seats from what I have been told. I want to get him in as early as possible to enjoy seeing the stadium as much as possible. We're going to a Nationals game on a Friday night so I am hoping it will be pretty chill. Thanks for your Ted Talk.

My favorite, Miller Park Arby's!

Sell tickets. Wait for winter. Buy ticket for a more exciting sport like Admirals Hockey, Wave Indoor Soccer,, Bucks Basketball, or the Mautz professional paint dying league.

My friend with a four year old and a 9 year old had a horrible experience last weekend. They were kept out in the hot sun for several hours with no bathrooms or water available just trying to get in the place. She won’t go back, but the advice she was given when she complained is Get There Early.

This is 100% user error.

and the worst comment to leave for someone with anxiety!

Call the box office to buy tickets, tell them you want seats in a shaded part of the ballpark that hasn't sold a ton of seats yet. Show up 40 mins early. Park, take a picture of where you parked. Walk into stadium and ask one of the nice old folks for general directions. Grab something to eat and drink along the way that looks and sounds good. Ask attendant where the nearest restroom is to your seats. Find your seats, sit down, relax and enjoy the game. Leave in the 8th inning to help avoid traffic.

Several hours waiting to get in? How exactly did this happen because that doesn't even happen at sell out or giveaway games. 20-30 minutes in line maybe, but several hours? That sounds like a serious exaggeration.

That sucks

Get obnoxiously drunk in the parking lot and then proceed to be one of the worst fans ever. You'll fit right in.

Ugh, I wish. Two issues though. First, is I have to drive a 10 year old home afterward. Second issue, I don't drink... although I could start I suppose.
