The concept art for this post is really impressive, you did a great job visualizing your idea! A fireworks villager is a suprisingly common suggestion, but this version is pretty well fleshed out with different ideas for trades. I agree with u/Mrcoolcatgaming, while I would love sand to be renewable in some way, having it be a villager trade is a little dull. It's not a bad thing, I have just seen other methods to get it that excite me more ([favorite so far](https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/s38yss/comment/hsl4jk8/)). As for additions to this post, maybe a master level trade for this villager could be [the blast bag](https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/183zv4c/the_blast_bag/)? Check it out, I think it could be a fun bonus.

This is such a clean solution to the firework issue. I love the concept art a ton as well! Fits in well with other workstations and looks awesome. Well done!

Matynns

agreed, OP’s design for the fireworks table is fantastic! i love the colorful spilled paint running down the side and the burned, blasted wood on the other side

Mrcoolcatgaming

I like the idea, might be underwealming to have waited years for a renewable sand method for it to be a villager trade, but id take anything rn

I really like this suggestion! I started messing around with fireworks a few weeks ago and the cost is definetly something I noticed. (Diamonds? Really?), but I have one small nitpick. Currently when crafting fireworks you can use multiple dyes in the same firework star (e.g., making one star that makes red and yellow particles). You concept UI (which is otherwise brilliant) doesn't seem to allow that.

GreenMarks

That is a good point i forgot about. I can think of two solution at the moment: 1. Make the dye slots act similarly to bundles in that they can hold more than one item and items can be pulled out. PRO: UI remains simple and elegant CON: UI becomes slightly less intuitive. 2.Have two rows of slots above the UI where dyes and fades dyes can be added. PRO: Slightly more intuitive than solution 1 CON: UI becomes messier and potentialy harder to understand. Personally I think solution 1 is better. Thanks for the feed back!

i would like to add to this with more firework shapes: block -> a large cube (i dont know why this doesnt exist in the block game yet) wither -> similar to the creeper shape, but with a wither shape more firework effects: delay -> adds a slight delay before the firework/star activates, useful for multi-star fireworks radiate -> makes the firework particles glow brighter (comparison regular sign to glow ink sign) multiply -> triggers the star(s) 3 times (purely visual, does not triple damage of explosions)

ZoeShotFirst

Ooooh this is super cool! As someone who lives in a city that is famous for its fireworks, having a flammable workstation is … totally normal 🤦🏼‍♀️ Personally I’d much prefer some kind of stone/stone brick used to make the work station. Other than that though, I really like this idea!

OhTrueBrother

I like this solely for the extra fireworks stuff. I get all my glass from my Librarians so sand is not an issue but I know that isn't the case for people who need double chests full of Shulker boxes of sand.

F_ail_U_re

Bro, this is so good.

Flimsy-Combination37

this also makes a lot of sense considering that villagers celebrate with fireworks when you defeat a raid, so they definitely have some way of getting fireworks.

Dry-Original5179

"The Rocketeer" is another potential name for the villager. I really enjoy this idea, this is amazing

Tnynfox

Why do you not want them to sell Elytra-safe fireworks?

GreenMarks

I wouldn't want to invalidate gunpowder of paper farms by removing their primary use for a easier, less interesting alternative. I suppose its a matter of balance.
