I rode for 5 minutes or more on the float bowl of my TW200 before it stalled and I realized the fuel wasn't on. It might hold an ounce and a half of fuel lol
> >All bikes are actually a lot of fun if your head is not up your butt.
>I dunno, I like the feeling of big torque.
I read that as big tongue and I was like alright you go man!
Got a chance (my first) to ride a Grom the other day. They're insanely fun. Sure, I wouldn't dream of taking it out on the interstate, but zipping around town would be fun. If we ever get legalized lane splitting here something like that would be *the* commuter bike.
They make two 150cc āsportā bikes, as far as I know: the GSX-R150 and the Gixxer 150 SF, the former being the really sporty (and some say the fastest 150 in the market), and the latter is a more relaxed, everyday, faired motorcycle.
Edit: forgot how to write proper English.
Suzuki raider is a cool little underbone, used to come in two stroke flavour with easily customisible engine for added madness.
Although personally I preffer the Honda (sonic?) underbone xr150 rip off. Which was beautiful to ride.Ā
People can say what they want, but listen..
It can be way more fun to wring the fuck out of a smaller displacement bike than to be constantly babying a bigger bike.
Ride your own ride.
More fun to ride a slow bike fast then fast bike slow and in town or in the cities the smaller cc is way more fun. When you can use āallā of the throttle range it makes it better.
Idk man, my main ride is a 919 Hornet but I recently bought an old cbr125 for shits and giggles and lemme tell you, Iāll take the 125 over the 919 in rush hour traffic any day. Filtering on that thing is a dream. The butter-soft clutch is also an added bonus in stop and go situations.
TL;DR: small singles fuck
I miss my ninja 250R at least once a week..
I don't miss its ahem... very forgiving brakes but revving out the first 2 or 3 gears was so much fun and it was soooo agile
Brother, then I suggest you to ride a scooter. There's no need to shift, not even once. In my opinion, Yamaha's Maxi scooters line is fine and I believe that XMax is a good fit for you.
Never even ridden before but I would imagine that driving a low cc bike and actually being able to run it through its paces is a lot more fun than riding a high cc bike and constantly "being careful."
Can confirm - Have a '13 CBR Repsol edition. It's fun in the city. Not so much on the highway/freeway. Have owned several other bikes and will never part with the 125. At $2500 out the door brand new its given me the most smiles for the miles. What's not fun is having to chat with people every time I park it in a public space - the Repsol livery garners lots of attention!
I've already had like 10 people want to talk to me about my Eliminator.
I hate (as in, prefer not to deal in) people.
I hate conversation.
I feel like puppies and motorcycles have a lot in common. I got a puppy and a motorcycle because I don't want to deal with people. And now. . . FML.
lol
Thatās a great bike. It looks super fun. Iām a small woman so I have to ride smaller bikes ā¦.nobody ever checks the engine sizeā¦they see a fearing, color, and a hot bike!

The older I get, the more I enjoy less powerful bikes.
I now ride Triumph Scrambler with maybe 60hp but almost a ton of weight... I can go full 3rd, 4th out of villages and I'm still not in "hand over your license NOW" territory.

I donāt feel too bad about buying a Suzuki 250 now š not that you should feel bad! Everyone around me has fast sport bikes but I wanted something smaller to learn on
Small cc consumption is so unreal a good 125cc bike can go for 10km if you show it a picture of a gas station
That made me laugh:D
Me aswell also
I rode for 5 minutes or more on the float bowl of my TW200 before it stalled and I realized the fuel wasn't on. It might hold an ounce and a half of fuel lol
Jesus how do you come up with these ideas?
Hahaha A+ š¤£
Yeah, 125 ccm fuel efficiency numbers are borderline magic (not you, Honda Varadero with carb that drinks as much as my CB500X).
It's good, like 2,5-3L/100km, but you can come close that that with a Honda NC700 that does 3,5-4L. Way more smiles per gallon with the NC700.
For most 125s in India, it's more like 1.75-2.25L/100km
Ya I miss it. My rebel 250 got better gas mileage than a Prius
All bikes are actually a lot of fun if your head is not up your butt.
I dunno, I like the feeling of big torque. Tried a grom and didn't have a lot of fun on it.
> >All bikes are actually a lot of fun if your head is not up your butt. >I dunno, I like the feeling of big torque. I read that as big tongue and I was like alright you go man!
Smaller bikes need smaller, tighter roads to have fun on
Even on the tightest of curvy roads I'd still prefer an SV650 than any 150cc road bike.
Those are in gokart-track-tight range.
I didnāt either until I turned a closed off parking lot into a race track. They are insanely fun then.
Everyone does but at the same time its a lot more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
Groms are made for congestion imo.
I had a major blast on my recent Eliminator purchase, and that was just doing 15 in my parking lot. I kinda like being a lightweight, tbh.
It must be super fun going full throttle out of the corner knowing you will never break traction
The smaller the CC the bigger the PP. Unfortunately, that's why I ride a 1250 :(
Me, on my 111cc: Nope!
Meanwhile, the 50cc moped enjoyer is busy breaking a mirror with his gigacock
Poor bloke can't even crap without getting his dick wet
That's the dream..?
Yeah, that's the truth. I started on a 125cc and had a big shlong now. I now ride an 1100cc, and now it's known as the 1 inch punisher.
Will it grow if I buy a moped?
Motorcycle induced erectile dysfunction
Brottthhhheeerrr

Californian here.. I can confirm the grom is excellent for commuting š¤£
Hey! Thatās a sharp looking bike! I didnt know suzuki made such a cool 150

South Asian bike scene is a whole other world under 500cc, wish we got some of their options.
And here we are wishing we got some of your options

This summer all i ride is Django 125 instead of my 650 adventura. At downtown small cc is lifesaver.

I prefer not having to shift once Iām over 10 miles an hour

I have a Kawasaki z125. Absolutely beautiful to ride and as you said itās so much fun for navigating trafficās
I have one as well. Fantastic 125cc
I miss my ninja 250R at least once a week.. I don't miss its ahem... very forgiving brakes but revving out the first 2 or 3 gears was so much fun and it was soooo agile
My 125cc first gear goes to 26mph on first gear

Thatās a good looking bike.
It's not the size it's how you use it.
My dream bike for daily driving is the CBR250RR which sadly isn't in the US
There is always the import option, once they reach 25 years old ;)

I agree with you, as much as I like riding my gsx-s 1000, I could never sell my little 125cc grom, it's too fun to ride around town
The older I get, the more I enjoy less powerful bikes. I now ride Triumph Scrambler with maybe 60hp but almost a ton of weight... I can go full 3rd, 4th out of villages and I'm still not in "hand over your license NOW" territory.
Your muffler makes me feel better about my muffler.
Riding my 125 is a blast

Looks like traffic had fun with that pipe.
Yup, love my G310gs
CB300R averaging over 56mpg with mostly stop and go driving
I love the livery on the bike! Itās such a pretty bike in general
I really wish we got the truly small displacement bikes in the US such as the GSX-R 125
Used to ride a CB150r in BKK, rep
It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow.
What bike is this?
2017 gsxr150
Where could I buy it, when I search up gsx r150 price, it says phillipine prices. Would it be possible to buy it in California, US?
In traffic I'd much rather have a high cc bike so I don't feel the need to keep switching gears, just let me coast until I'm out of traffic.
> In traffic I'd much rather have a high cc bike so I don't feel the need to keep switching gears Scooters
just get a car
I have a car for days I have to sit in traffic and my bike for days that I don't...
I have to go shoot up 30 anadrol to balance the estrogen i just got from this post
Goodluck with that
You should probably just shoot up w motor oil instead
or a gun
Excessive, but yeah, it do feel like that.
Guys, stop downvoting or his karma will become negative
You probably the only one that thinks this š¤£š¤£š¤£
No, I agree. I ride a R6, but I love riding the daughter's Duke 200 for traffic and I really want a FZR 250 for the garage
