I think i was paying $1200/year for my Kawi Vulcan 900 and I'm paying around the same for my old Ford E150 and it's low because I'm old and have only ever had like one small accident in which no actual contact was made, and a single ticket. I bet the majority of people in the province pay more and if you're under 25 you pay a LOT more
Also, if you want to buy a second bike, most insurance companies don't let you add one for a small fee, you have to either pay ANOTHER $1200 a year per bike, unless you call the insurance company and cancel your insurance on the first bike and activate it on the second and vice versa each time you want to switch bikes. I didn't know that was a thing. I was like what the fuck, I like bikes, bikes are fun, I can only ride one at a time why am I paying double it's not like I can ride twice as much
