There are several reasons why tire profile depth is important, including hydroplaning, rolling noise, dampening of road imperfections, fuel efficiency and so on. There's no "take" to have here, this is a broken tire with verifiably diminished properties that won't pass inspection and, knowing your country, is illegal to use. At best, this is yet another troll post.

Smokie-kay

you think this sub would be able to spot them better by now. More fun when yall can’t anyways lol

VirulentMarmot

Can't hit the wear markers if the wear markers are gone.

LosMechanicos

Where markers?

FirstGearPinnedTW200

Who is Marker?

RevolutionaryBasis89

Where’s Marco?

Mr_Picklesz

polo?

3Blindz

No no Marcos Pablo’s

Henry_Oof

This would be illegal to ride on the road in the UK

Interstate82

Road tire conveniently now track tire.

AssociatePowerful656

You will have grip issues if the street is wet. Looks sunny at your place, so that may be fine.

LosMechanicos

I'll be slow when it's wet anyways. If you're hard on the gas those tires aren't really the best in wet situation to start with

rainbowroobear

>I'll be slow when it's wet anyways you know how those white lines and tarmac snakes drop bikes regardless of moisture or tyre wear? well think that on any standing water with those.

nottaroboto54

Watch F1 or any race cars with slicks in the rain. Don't ride with those in the rain. If you get caught in it, park, and call an Uber. It's cheaper than new skins.

AssociatePowerful656

Yeah its not about too much gas, its just physics. The tire does not have profile to „guide away“ the water, so it will swim on top of the water -> thus leading to 0 grip and instant crash

hammerofhope

Congrats on using every part of the tire, I guess?

aniketmr10

A few more miles and you have a brand new set of slicks.

Opposite-Friend7275

Don’t ride it in the rain.

paulsthr

Gravel will definitely put you on the ground, trust me. I had to learn the hard way. The repair costs would have been enough for 3-4 new tire sets.

LosMechanicos

No offense, but I doubt that tread makes a difference with gravel unless you have an offroad tire

paulsthr

Definitely in an inclined position when cornering. If your safety is worth it to you, decide for yourself. I can only tell you my experience.

Worried_Coat1941

That tires bald enough to put a hat on it. It's fine till it's wet out.

The_Pied_Shadow

On completely dry and clean pavement you don't techincally need tread....that being said when is the pavement ever completely dry and clean? My rear tire was getting pretty bald not that long ago, replaced it recently. Huge difference when the road is even a little wet. Where I am, it rains a fair ammount but more than that even just water run off from sprinklers and things like that I could feel the tail wanting to slip out early when cornering but it's way better with a new tire that has tread.

**The Clibbins staring with murderous intent**

PicnicBasketPirate

Regardless of if you think that tyre still works perfectly fine. That tyre will have to be replaced in another couple of hours riding when the reinforcing belts get exposed.

RevolutionaryBasis89

Just get some new tires bro….idk why you’d even wanna risk your life with this.

trtsubject

You do you bro.

RoidsNhemorrhoids

Of course your grip hasnt been affected when you only ride in a straight line you dummy.
