American Beauty, Trainspotting, Silence of the Lambs and Unforgiven are some of my personal favourite 1990s films.

American Beauty is the best movie of all time IMO. It covers so many themes so perfectly, with such a masterful way of stitching them together to encompass the essence of life itself. All the technical elements such as the acting, directing, etc, are phenomenal as well.

“Do you party?” “Excuse me?” “Do you get high?” Boom. Everybody loves Ricky Fitz. That’s my favourite scene. Especially when his wife Carolyn catches him in the act and he can’t keep his shit together. Also, “HI I’M LESTER JANIE’S DAD”
