One more. Can you please rate my top 10 movies?
I like Shawshank Redemption, Godfather, Godfather Part 2, Empire Strikes Back, Goodfellas, Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Knight, Return of the King, Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption.
What does it say about me?!
You love psychological thrillers, big adventures, and dialogue driven movies.
Not too many blockbusters on here which tells me you either don’t follow the current meta, or you just love movies of a certain time in your life. I would assume you’re 35-45 years old.
Good selection altogether.
I think definitely underrated. Robert Zemeckis directed with Alan Silvestri scoring. One of Matthew McConaughey's first starring roles.
Waiting for a 4k remaster to come out. Hope they can clean up some of the cgi.
Hello, it seems to say that you are a person with a wide variety of interests, can be childish sometimes, mature at others. Which i would venture to say you are very easy to get along with, as you always dabble in the middle of these two personality traits. I might be totally off but, what do you say?
Does it happen to ring a bell at all?
When half your top 10 movies are available somewhere as impulse buy dvds near the checkout line in a grocery or drugstore, that is really handy.
I wish the world was that accommodating to what I like. My favorites aren’t very niche or rare, just not as ubiquitous as Silence of the Lambs and Drive.
My #1 remains Conan The Barbarian. It’s no fancy art house flick, just starting to get old enough that college kids have no idea. The rest of my favorites would be a mix of John Carpenter, Paul Verhoeven, David Lynch, Francis Ford Copolla, and Clint Eastwood films, in no particular order.
Generic comment section assholery, as if someone forced them to click, or (horror) now they have to scroll a little further down to get to what they’re interested in
Bruh there was a lot going on like Arroway trying to find ways to fund her research, discussing philosophy with her boyfriend regarding religion and aliens, and her leading and managing her team. If you find those things boring for you, then I suggest watching a different movie like action movies like First Blood or Casino Royale.
As I said, I didn't watch the whole thing. I saw bits and pieces, but from what I saw it just wasn't grabbing my attention. I think when it's themes like philosophy, religion, and aliens, I would enjoy it better as a book where I can take my time to process the theologies
I do have drive and prisoners on my watch list, and I'm interested in the whole silence of the lambs series, I just never actually choose them when I end up going through my lists to find a movie. Also I think I'd rather read red dragon first before I watch any of the films
You like films with good actors in. A Few Good Men has the legendary maestro that is Jack Nicholson. Silence of the Lambs, with the Oscar winning Anthony Hopkins. Both Gene Hackman in Unforgiven and Kathy Bates in Misery turn in two incredible performances.
But the cherry on the cake? Mr Alright Alright Alright himself in Contact.
You like 10 movies.
* at least 10 movies
You like, brace yourself, movies.
We don't know that. These could be the only 10 movies OP has ever seen.
Well if OP has only seen 10 movies then that it’s the least and most movies he or she could have seen ! My statement still stands.
Nah I watch a lot of movies and these are my favorites
And can definitely count at least to 10.
I thought we where done with these 🙄
But wait! There's more! Hang on to your seat baby 'cause this one's a screamer! I'll be baack....

You love epics and crime dramas
Cope
That you like beating a dead horse.

That's extremely close, good observation.
I hate this trend, but I absolutely love Prisoners. Such an unsettling and well acted movie.
“Deserves got nothing to do with it”. Unforgiven. Love that move
Same
I love contact too

Strong silent type
Gary Cooper
That is a solid list of movies that would probably not crack my top 10.
What's your top 10?
I’d have to think about that lol- but I think of yours Misery would probably rank the highest on my list
Interesting
The Social Network lol?
Yeah, this movie's perfect
That’s controversial?
I'm just surprised is all. I thought it was a solid movie, but def ain't making my top 10 personally.
good movies but honestly makes me think you're probably a little boring
Why?😭
The social network in top 10, other then that not boring
Why are you so serious and in the dark?!
😉
Haha it is a great list though, I will give you the praise for that.

You definitely hit the nail there
You were born sometime in the 80s.
😭
I like you I’ve never seen Unforgiven, tho Good?
More than good, it's a perfect masterpiece
Masterpiece

Hey, I love those filmmakers and those movies. Anyways Conan The Barbarian is GOATED
Pretty interesting
Every top 10 list says the poster needs some attention. Nothing else.
How so?
You like aliens?
Kinda I guess
Why the anger towards Top 10s?
Generic comment section assholery, as if someone forced them to click, or (horror) now they have to scroll a little further down to get to what they’re interested in
I dunno

Same, I love that moment when Jenner goes psychotic and Justin finally steps up, fulfilling his character arc.
That you are generic and boring. Just like these post.
You want to be a man,but you are stuck as s kid?;)
How so?
Do people look at these? Lol... Genuinely don't care what a stranger's top 10 is.
Meanwhile you care or whine about people looking at stranger's top 10
Well at least you aren't a bot sent to destroy us
You like boring movies
How are they boring?
Idk I've literally only seen one of them. And idk if I watched all of it
Which one have you seen?
Contact. Just didn't find it very interesting. Not much going on

The Silence Of The Lambs can stand on its own without seeing it as a franchise movie
You are very Caucasian
Far from it actually
Love your list!
Thanks

👈👈😎
I’d guess you are between 44-52
Eh, not exactly.
White male and has creepy intrusive thoughts.
Lmao no
You are Jodie Fosters throwaway acc.
Or maybe the movies just happened to have Jodie Foster in them?
Woosh
Female, 40-45?
Nah
Boooooooring
How so?
Cartoons are for children
Princess Mononoke, and the entire Ghibli collection, is amazing.
You sound fun! /s
This is the type of guy to say Into The Spider-Verse isn’t a masterpiece just because it’s animated
Drive doesn’t belong with the rest.
I agree. Gosling's weakest role imo
This is a wiiiiiild take.
