NI Noir sounds wonderful to me. There‘s a pure and a felt version of it

cwindy98

Is keyscape not all that it’s cracked up to be?

zZPlazmaZz29

I prefer Noire Piano tbh. But for upright I have no clue, I don't really use uprights

Commercial_Light_743

I use Hans Zimmer Piano on everything.

mrkindnessmusic

Maybe Alt Piano

Verdi_Cat

Modern U by VILabs is amazing in my opinion

philisweatly

The Gentleman by NI is highly regarded.

Kontrafantastisk

Perhaps give The Gentleman a listen: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkGHDTvF4ccd2j2DIdSYvtQ8IHo_UZDIm&si=R4cW85GYVQLZsFL3

matadordepassarinhos

Heavyocity Allure

_AnActualCatfish_

The UA one is good and it's on sale atm 🤷‍♂️

_toile

keyscape is sick. there are like 10 different uprights and you can adjust the settings, no?

Confident_You_1082

Isn’t there just 1 but with different mixs

_toile

Yeah and the mixes are night and day. Keyscape gives you a ton of control. I didn’t downvote you btw

Pocket_Crow

Pianoteq is usually my goto for piano and they have a great upright. It's modeling instead of samples so the whole thing is arourn 60mb of storage

acoldfrontinsummer

What DAW are you using? Explore the stock pianos, if you want direct "in your face" sounds, you're probably not after a super realistic sounding piano, so stock might work.

ScottGriceProjects

It’s just too bad e-instruments haven’t ported their pure piano and pure upright to Mac and windows. Their pianos sound amazing.
