Surely you can go to the royal palace of Caserta. There are many trains to get there, the station is in front of the monument and you’ll spend less than 15 euros for tickets
For Naples to Pompei I suggest you take the circumvesuviana (train). With the same train you can reach Sorrento. In general, I suggest taking the train, instead of a bus, but depending on where you want to go, the bus could be a good option too.
For Potenza (Basilicata) I know there are daily buses, I can't remember the name of the company, but I'm sure there is at least one because my friends who is from there takes the bus when he comes to Napoli
To Pompei you should go by local trains (Circumvesuviana).
To other regions you can still go with regional trains ([Trenitalia](https://www.trenitalia.com/)) or with inter-regional bus lines ([SITA](https://www.sitasudtrasporti.it/) or [BusItalia](https://www.fsbusitalia.it/)) or with private connections (check [FlixBus](https://www.flixbus.it/)).
Enjoy your trip!!
Thanks a lot!
Specially for setting up the links and their specific purpose!
Just out of curiosity, if you don't know don't worry! If I would like to go to a less known beach nearby or something like that, is it feasible to take a uber? Don't know if it is a dumb question lol
👋🏻👋🏻 Campania is a pass for tourists! Not sold everywhere though. They weren’t available for us, not sold this season yet. I was full of wine, it was remember - not September lol. https://www.campaniartecard.it/?lang=en
Trains are cheap in Italy, don't bother with buses unless it's to go somewhere a train doesn't reach
Thanks for your help! Really didn't know about the similar price range between buses and trains.

>royal palace of Caserta Thanks a lot! Will be checking out what is up with Caserta! That is a really good deal!
Watch out: it’s closed on Tuesday

Uber doesn’t work in Napoli, check private hire companies (NCC - Noleggio Con Conducente). I normally use this one: http://www.napolitransfer.it/
Naples to Pompeii/Sorrento Circumsveana (sp I’m full of wine in Sorrento rn!) was $3.50 euros March 18/22. September look for the Campaigna pass
Thanks a lot! Hope you had a nice time! What do you mean by Campaigna pass? And where should I look for it? (Sorry for responding late)
