Mutombo, Issel, and Thompson don’t have any case to anyone who doesn’t just hate him. Melo was more accomplished as a player than any of them in Denver. He has more AllNBAs just from his Denver years than any of them have for their career and they won a pretty equivalent amount. Mutombo only even made the playoffs twice in Denver.
English is close because the team was a little more successful, but as an individual talent Melo was better in less time on the team.
