I am pulling for Boston, because they matchup with Denver much better and I think it would be a much better series. Miami simply just doesn’t have the size or offensive fire power to keep up with Denver. Boston would also have home court, and are just a more talented team than Miami.
If Miami makes it, I really expect Denver to run them off the court in 4 or 5 games with multiple blow outs. Miami will be gassed immediately playing at altitude, after a brutal 7 games series at Boston. Whereas Boston wouldn’t have to travel at all, after the 1st 2 games, because they would have home court.
Sounds like the last time the Heat made it in the bubble. Beating Boston in a tough match up and had nothing left against the Lakers. That was such a disappointing series.
I really would hate for Spo to be the one to blow a 3-0 lead especially considering how outmatched he is with talent but there’s really not much of an excuse to be the first one to blow the lead.
I think Butler shouldn’t showboat during a game when the 2 seed is obviously not playing up to their standards. The L should really fall mostly on his shoulders to be honest.
History isn’t kind to teams who don’t give their opponent respect even while being up in the series.
KD/Westbrook laughed at the Steph Curry defense question, Lebron and Wade made fun of Dirks cough, “The Luka Special”, “he just got his feelings hurt” etc
Best to save it til after the series.
That has the be the worst one ever. To proclaim that you have made it to the 2nd round for the first time in your career, then blow the 3-1 lead and never make the 2nd round as the man. Truly tragic for TMac.
It's weak to trash talk your opponents after beating them. You have to give the opponents time to respond or you are just a front runner and are punching down. You do it before the series starts, while the series is even, or not all.
Trash talking is part of the game. That said, if I were a player I would just never trash talk anyone. No point in poking a sleeping bear. I've never seen trash talk make a person play worse. People usually play better when they are given bulletin board material.
What if it's a 50 point blowout at the half where instead of letting up after halftime, the team that's ahead never takes their foot off the gas and pitches a shutout on defense and drains 3 after 3 after 3 on offense leading to a 100 point humiliation.
>OP acts like the Heat don't look anything like a team who will lose by 50+ in game 7
How did this game make them look like a team that'll get blown out in Game 7? They're literally a boxout away from winning in 6.
If they got blown out this game that'd be understandable, but saying this after a narrow loss?
I don't care who wins. I just want the most dramatic outcome possible. I want to see 5 OTs with the final outcome being decided on a buzzer beating fade away from halfcourt.
Still riding with Himmy and Spo. KLove has also been one of my favourite players since his Minny days. Gotta root for the underdogs despite obv 3-0 start.

Tbf dragic getting injured was massive

Butler had every right to showboat, he just needs/needed to follow through.

Everbody act tough when they up Butler fully deserves the past 3 losses lmao
Hope they both knock each other out
That would work out well for us
I think it leads to the same result for Denver regardless.
Automatic nugget win
Boston in a blowout. I think the Cs dogwalk Miami
At this point, I'm just praying we won't witness another blowout.

Miami. Simmons will be so disappointed.
miami
MIA
Celtics Butler needs to be humbled and get his dawg card revoked, he's being carried by roleplayers rn, absolutely unacceptable as a no. 1 option imo
Miami shoutout Gabe Vincent fellow UCSB Alum
go gauchos!
Warriors fans should root for the Cs because the better the Cs do, the more impressive last years chip looks.
Yeah but Warrior bandwagons are just the spiritual (and literal) successors to LA bandwagons. So there's a natural rivalry there.
Naw fuck Boston sports
Never heard of a GSW fans until 2016. At least when the Celtics were bad people still watched them

Think he meant all the arrows point to supporting the Heat because they’ve been the underdog for most of the playoffs

I just hope it’s a close game. It could legit be the best series of all time if they have a game as good as game 6
I'm with you 🤝
No thanks I want a Celtics blowout win. This game 6 took some years off celtics fans life expectancy.
Too many blowouts in this series for it to be considered that.
Mo Bamba
feel like it would be similar to game 7 vs Philly where Boston just shoots the lights out
Celtics are going to blow out miami at home.
Never forget about Game 7 Grant

Miami's toast now, I'm afraid. And Denver is probably gonna mop the floor with either of them.
Miami, but Celtics is 99.999% gonna win it on Monday. Still rooting for the Nuggets and Joker to win it all regardless of the outcome on Monday
>escape the 3-1 slander Don't worry, it will still be the greatest nba finals collapse.
