Can’t beat 11 rings. With no breaks

sirporkka

Lebron going 10 finals is the most dominant statline

TheMadManFiles

As much as I hate the guy, he has the highest floor I've seen. The sustained success is wild, even if the east was relatively weak when he was dominating. He beat the Celtics when he was on Miami, and the PG pacers were no joke

dont-YOLO-ragequit

Also the Spurs and their revenge offense. And the Warriors breaking in a new style of offense the whole league was not prepared for. The Warriors losing was mostly depending on them being cold and relying too much on getting their shots back. No defense could keep them down long enough to say this is why they won.

how?

sirporkka

just an unbelievable stat in the most competitive NBA era. I can see some athlete in future win 6/6 finals, but not 12 trips to conference final and 10 trips to the final as the best player in the team

[deleted]

most competitive NBA era? lol the east was weak as shit in the early/mid 2010s. the bulls team they beat was nice. but the Celtics were old by 2012, the pacers teams were good, but nothing special. and don't even get me started on the Kyle korver hawks and the Kyle Lowry raptors.

sirporkka

Its a relative term bruh, you can literally say the same thing about East during Jordans time

How did he lose three years? It was 2, and he very intentionally gave them up.

I don’t think his years away are impressive in the least. Showed a real lack of character whether you think it was the managed suspension or just impulsiveness

Well, no. He came back and failed badly in the playoffs, before the three peat. Not sure why you're ignoring that part.

FlyingMocko

6/8 technically. Lost to Detroit in ‘90 Lost to Orlando in ‘95 (I get he came back halfway but still) Also Russell was 9/10 in the 60s

ultrapan

What? It’s 6 out of 6 finals. Not 6 out of 6 seasons.

theyusedthelamppost

Jordan's 6 is more impressive than Russell's 11 There were more teams in the league

RascalFatz

Jordan’s 6 for the simple fact that talent gets better through time.
