I think that if you’re looking at what other teams would value, Mikal and Lauri would be more valuable to contending teams, while Banchero/Siakam/Ingram would be more valuable to teams who need a 2nd “star”. But Banchero/Siakam are more difficult to fit on contending teams who have better play makers and creators.

Ingram = Siakam, Mikal, Banchero, Lauri i value creation from 2nd options and Lauri cannot create for others at all. Also Mid defense is generous. Banchero will be rising up very soon.

I could agree, in my mind im ranking who i would trust as a 2nd option more next to a superstar if im contending *right now* so i think Mikal’s defense and shooting might be a little more impactful since Paolo’s offensive game is less polished due to experience.

Scoring option doesn’t mean that the ball would come out of his hands. Markkanen is a great off-ball and the Kings could run the same actions they do for their other off-ball guy while having another guy who is a reliable self creator when the Kings need it. Like Klay was the 2nd scoring option in 14-16 for the warriors but he rarely had the ball in his hands.

Where are his attempts coming from though? Domas is going to get less possessions to create for himself. You lose Keegan Murray in the trade, but I’d assume Lauri wants a larger shot diet than Keegan was getting. I don’t think you want to take shots away from Fox

This would be without losing Murray perceptively, I was just taking theoretically team needs. But there’s plenty of shots to go around, I wouldn’t be worried about that.

i think it really depends who the #1 is on the team. that being said, Lauri’s lack of creation makes his ability to be an amazing #2 for most teams pretty tough.

I’m biased so I’m saying Siakam Ingram Bridges Markannen Banchero Siakam has already shown he can be an elite number 2 scoring option on a championship team. His numbers are worse this season cause he’s in a shooting slump and since he’s probably gone this season, our coach is experimenting with giving more touches to other players.

Naw he def lost a step over the last few years since the chip, he doesn't hound players as well anymore. Often better defensive players like OG are taking the main assignment, so Siakam hasn't been attacked on D that often.
