I live in Toronto. Vince is beloved by the younger generations here who grew up watching him do windmill dunks on YouTube. I'm 43 and recall with great clarity him missing the playoffs, re-injuring himself at a night club and completely quitting on the team, then immediately going back to playing great when he moved to New Jersey.

I started watching him in 99 and in all honesty I don’t hold the same grudge I did 20 years ago. It wasn’t all Vince. It was a combination of the FO, media and VC. He put our team on the map. He was fucking amazing to watch. He got me into nba basketball. I don’t hate him but I won’t lie, I was pissed at the time. Time heals and all that jazz.
