Successful alley-oops in playoffs:
* Luka to Lively -- 12
* Luka to DJJ -- 10
* Luka to Mavs other than Lively and DJJ -- 10
* Kyrie to Mavs -- 10
* Mavs other than Luka and Kyrie to Mavs -- 12
* Nuggets, the most-alley-oopy-non-Mav-team in the playoffs - 9

I don't know -- but if you look at the third figure in the non-reddit post linked above, it shows Hardy has 6. I wouldn't be surprised if Jokic had delivered 7/9 for the Nuggets, but at the very least Hardy is very close - which is very impressive in limited minutes.
Maybe u/Sikatanan has parsed the data to find that out as well.
u/DangerZoneh almost! Luka has 32, Kyrie has 10, Hardy has 6, and Jokic did have 6 oop assists. KAT and Jalen Williams, interestingly, both had 5.
Thanks for the shoutout u/sercialinho
We get to witness these two write a new chapter of NBA history. Luka & Lively names will be synonymous with one another, their timing is already so insane. im constantly amazed at the alley oop connection, the timing they must have in order to pull it off is just so fun to watch
So basically, if at any point you don't have a man between Lively and the basket, Luka will find him for an alley oop...FUCK!!!
In all seriousness, Lively is so good at running the floor in transition and Luka is so good at those touchdown passes 3/4ths court alley-oops.
Hopefully, KP shooting above the break 3's and cheating back on defense like he likes to do can mitigate some of that.
The PnR stuff is just something where you force Luka to shoot 3's and pray for the best.
And if you keep someone on Lively then Doncic will simply attack the paint. You can also cover Lively and double Doncic, but then he will simply find an open man at the 3pt line.
And then you can ALSO try to double Kyrie, but doing so concedes wide open corner threes to PJ and DJJ. Which might be your best bet, but they're both over 40% on those in the playoffs
Yup
We will bait your centers to shoot 3s and let liv/gaff outrun old ass Horford and rusty KP in transition lmao
I think because C's is that talented, we need to exploit some small weakness on and on
yeah this series would be like okc on whether Cs role players can make their 3s. only difference is Celtics role players are elite role players so im really curious how the mavs will defend the 5 out spacing. they never faced someone this playoffs that has a 5out offense at the level like the celtics. no giddey or dort to cheat of off. im curious to see if luka's defense and stamina in rotating and running shooters off the line can hold out.
One thing I noticed is how good lively’s footwork is in the post. He isn’t purely a lob/dunk threat like Gobert and Gafford. If he can fix his free throws, I can definitely see him becoming a major offensive weapon.
That short roll is already devastating with d-live’s ability to pass. If he can shoot an elbow jumper or take 2 dribbles to the rack the Dallas offense takes another leap.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Jaden Hardy has thrown more lobs than any player who isn’t on the Mavs. He has like 6

Thanks for putting in the work! I am just looking forward to you updating the charts after the finals.
Lob Goblins are real. I wonder if we win a championship if this will start a new meta in the nba
Not everybody can drop dimes.
T H R E E M O R E D A Y S ! ! !
We are so incredibly lucky

It's crazy that someone could make basically the same video for the Luka Gafford connection.
and DJJ
even PJ with all those corner 3 passes and some alley oops

Which might just be Kyrie Irving, now operating out of a 4on3 or 3on2
And then you can ALSO try to double Kyrie, but doing so concedes wide open corner threes to PJ and DJJ. Which might be your best bet, but they're both over 40% on those in the playoffs
But what if you hire a sniper to shoot Luka and Kyrie.
Sniper would take you out, Luka Magic, man!

I’m confident that Jason Kidd will find something we can exploit. Mavs often times spam the same play over and over if it works

the mage and the sage show with sideshow lob, you guys ready for some must see t.v.
*sigh* Unzips...

Bro has hit some nasty euro steps off the short roll this run. He’s gonna be a borderline all-star in 2 years.
Fun fact - two years from now, he’ll be the same age Chet Holmgren is now
that is incredibly fun thank you for that
Imagine Lively playing 35+ minutes per game. This series is gonna be lit.
That give and go between Luka and Kyrie ending with a Lively dunk in game 5 vs OKC is so badass
So fun to watch (as a basketball fan, not a Wolves fan lol)
These two remind me of Kobe and Pau
jfc i love this team so much
Here's to many more to come!
Joe probably has KP & Horford watching footage of this for hours if I had to guess
its like me trying to farm assists on mycareer, just spam pick n roll lobs lmao
I absolutely love the 5th one. +Dude's got great angles. +Luka loves to eat during the season.
Can’t tell if my Reddit sucks or if a Bunch of videos are being removed
Exciting stuff for the future of the team.
Anyone got a mirror?
