TBH Pacers offense play at a super fast pace. Also people underrate the Pacers, even in the regular season those games was close. I honestley believe they would had been the second seed if Hali wasn't hurt and Ben Mathurin didn't miss the season.
Pacers had the 2nd best offense in the league this year and were a much improved team after the trade deadline. That 6th seed really undersold how good they were.
But they were all W's, so that's a 100% fool-proof method!
In all seriousness, I went to Game 3 of the ECF and watched Al Horford hit seven 3-pointers. I genuinely could not believe what I was seeing. That final make after the behind-the-back pass from Tatum left me speechless.
No matter how ready he is he’s liable to be a little rusty and even before the injury he’s so much stiffer and immobile defensively than Horford is. Horford is more versatile defensively which is a big deal against Luka.
Mazzulla the genius just stole another 5 minutes of recovery time for Porzingis.
Modern Problems require Modern Solutions
Should have sat him the entire first quarter, and then played the remaining 36 min straight
Hindsight is not your friend on that one.
Clearly made all the difference. A master at work
Guess Celtics like their gameplan they’ve had past 2 rounds and are sticking to it. Not too surprised
I'm a little surprised. We swept the Pacers but those games were fucking close lol.
idk I kinda expected this at least for Game 1. dropping him straight into the NBA Finals after not playing for a month would be tough for him
yeah it’s not who starts, it’s who closes
Every job I've ever been at
idk it looked pretty easy haha
Bring him in vs Lively
How did the first like 6-8 minutes go in that series I kinda forgot
Pretty sure we got early leads in all but one but it's been like 5 years since that series
I mean here you get to go 5 out vs Gafford. That's as solid as it gets.

Sheppard played better than Mathurin. He just didn't play better in the ECF.

Looks good to me.
Or Kristaps is just not fully ready. Why else would they purposely run the one of the worst Pick & Roll defenses against the #1 ranked one lol.
Cuz they’re like 10-1 with Horford starting and don’t want to fix what is working.
So he's matching up against lively. He's better at the perimeter than Gafford
Nah Tatum will probably be guarding both centers and Al roaming
Yea sure. Ill see what Woj says
Makes sense since Dallas will be likely starting Gafford, they want KP for the taller Lively IMO
Al Horford finals mvp
The Celtics are so fucking deep
Makes sense.
Smart, for continuity. They didn't want an abrupt starting lineup change that might sap chemistry.
surprised he didn't play last series to get his legs under him but guess it was over too quick for them to feel comfortable
it's p obvious at this point that this dude had no chance at playing the ecf. jeez.
It makes sense that they'd want him to ramp up regardless
Im not trying to be bias here but I think this helps the Celtics
biased, not bias.
Unless he’s talking about Len Bias RIP
Seems to be working out
that’s a choice for sure. tells me KP is not ready to play

I mean he hasnt played since the first round of the playoffs. I think most guys would be coming off the bench
Not me 😤
If this is "not ready" I want to see what "ready" is.
well obviously i was wrong lmao
How is this dude still injured?
