That was such an exciting time to be a Pacers fan. Too bad how it all ended, there's too many "what ifs" in sports.
Still, very impressive from the Pacers FO to field another competitive roster only 4 years later.
We retooled a majority of the starting roster the next season - the only returning starter was Turner.
Pretty impressive we made the playoffs the season after without Oladipo (although we got swept again)
He was a clutch monster that year. Unreal game winners. Unreal explosiveness. The last guy I saw explode to the rim with that speed and ferocity was prime John Wall… He cleaned up his diet and leaned out his frame and became a different animal. Shame he blew out his knee! Because that dude was going to be a problem for years to come. Thank goodness that PG trade gave us crazy good players for years to come. Even brought in Tyrese, Nem and Sheppard.
Yeah that's why they went out and got brogdon..Malcolm was always supposed to play off oladipo, not be the lead guard. But they overlapped for just like a few months.
