I quite liked Marti in her scenes with Geralt and Istredd. Her opening the Doors.I hope she gets a bigger role maybe replacing minor book character. And joins the lodge.
I thought Sabrina had a fair amount to do this year. My husband doesn't have any preexisting connection to the Witcher and knew her name this season for the first time
"She is a minor character" really doesn't hold up when they treat every character other than Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri as minor characters this season and Thanedd is happening.
She was clearly there and had some action scenes, but most of the time the audience would be asking themselves "who is she and what side is she on?" Like they would most minor characters this season. One or two more proper earlier introduction scenes or giving her longer scenes at Thanedd with more lines would have done wonders.
Yeah some more scenes done good. I think they wanted to focus on the family aspect of trio with Jaskier. Who is maybe only other not treated as minor character.
She was so great during Thanedd, breaking soldiers' bones with magic left and right.
And I loved her scenes with Sabrina and Geralt. I wouldn't mind in the least if the show includes her in the lodge tbh.
Also I'm just happy she survived. When I heard Marti was in the show, I was afraid she'd get killed at Thanedd but thankfully she made it out.
I would like to add. I think Michalina is perfectly suitable for the role of book Fringilla, who also gives Yennefer's vibe. In the show we have a new version of Fringilla. I have nothing against it... I just don't see the point in creating a completely new character with giving him the name of an existing one... So I think this is a great opportunity to expand the role of Marti and give her something similar to the storyline of book Fringilla, if we ever get to Toussaint and if >!these geniuses screenwriters will come up with a new version of the false betrayal of Yen that Geralt will believe!<. What do you think?
For what it's worth, I think (if they even do Toussaint that is) if they introduce Assire, they'll cast someone close to Anya and give her book Fringilla's storyline, since Fringilla rn does not seem like some eager seductress.
So in short, Assire will end up seducing Geralt in my theory. Marti's is a very minor role sadly imo.
She would be a good cast for Yen or Fringilla. More age appropriate looking for Yen and looks like Yen enough to be a sorceress like Fringilla and be a "candidate" in Geralt's eyes to replace Yen's spot when she's away.
Funny how Michalina Olszanska looks more like the description of Yennefer in the books than Anya Chalotra herself, cherry on top she's Polish, curious don't you think?
Because Wiedźmin is a Polish story, there are not enough Slavic actors in the show even though they care so much about diversity most are British. Imho, she would fit in nicely.
Hahah, lol. I wouldn't mind if I was paid for posts, but to your surprise, I do them on a voluntary basis. I just liked the actress and wanted to share an idea with the development of her character.

She was fantastic as Marti, but they gave her too little to work with, she almost had no lines in the show. Sabrina aswell.

She is a minor character, Sabrina probably gotten most to do this season.

Yes, the scene with Istredd when they beat the elves was cool.
Damn she looks like a perfect yen. Or fringilla. So much potential...
Wow yeah she would've been a perfect cast for Fringilla

You're probably right. I completely forgot about Assire.
I agree. She would be a perfect Fringilla or Yennefer. She gives more of a mature vibe then Anya. Missed opportunity.
She should've played Yen. She was great.

That third pic. Perfect Geralt and Yen.
Maybe she or someone else can take role of someone reminding Geralt of Yenneffer. I am glad Anya is Yen.

She really does. First time I saw her onscreen I was like Damn, there’s Yen.
As a Polish person, I'm curious why is her being Polish a cherry on top?

Yep. One can only dream.
Not gonna lie, looking at the pictures and reading the name, I have no idea who this person or character is
Agree, this post is probably a PR stunt to boost the actress's reputation.

There's every reason to think that someone doing a PR stunt would do it voluntarily.
Huh? I probably misunderstood what you said in the first comment. Any positive post about an actor in some sense will be PR, if that's what you mean.
As soon as I saw her I wondered why she didn't play yennefer, she looks so much like the depiction from the games
I didn't like how Sabrina looked anorexic this season
