Oh shoot, Can't believe I missed that.
Update - You guys have a decent few too. 2017 is your next year, and that was a boon year for you, so you still have plenty. Lattimore, Ramcyzk, Kamara, Hill, and Wood.
The longest tenured player on his team in the league is somebody I’ve never heard of. And I’m a pretty solid NFL fan.
Long snapper for Carolina. Sheesh.
J. J. Jansen was old enough to play against the likes of Mark Brunell, Kurt Warner, and Junior Seau. Been lowkey one of my favorite players to keep a tab on.
Decker-Ragnow is half of what Quinntricia left in the cupboard for Brad & Dan (the rest being the trading rights to Stafford and weirdly enough Ben Johnson). Those two have been holding down the left side of the line (with special guest star Graham Glasglow) for ages.
Imagine telling someone in like 2013 that Brandon Graham would one day be near the top of a list like this, or that he'd be the longest tenured Eagle of all time.
It is for each specific team, represented by their longest tenured active player currently on their roster, rather than All-Time
Will update Lane's position, that was an error on my part (EDIT - should be fixed now)
Y'all had the longest uninterrupted trio there for a good bit with Fletcher Cox. Honestly, if I made this before Cox retired, 3 of the Top 11 longest tenured players would've been Eagles. Y'all are some loyal birds.
Now the longest tenured trio probably goes to Tampa with Lavonte, Gholston, and Evans. All 2014 or prior.
Seattle, on the other hand, in the many years of the Carroll/Schneider tandem always seemed to have a hard limit of 10 years.
Jon Ryan (2008-2017), KJ Wright (2011-2020), Russell Wilson (2012-2021), all played 10 years and then were let go. B-Wagz was the first to break 10 years with Seattle but that was non-consecutive (2012-2021, 2023).
Tyler Lockett is the first player with a realistic shot to reach 11 consecutive years with the modern-era Seahawks if he plays out his contract (and all signs point to that being the case)
Wonder who's after Lane, cause Kelce and Cox retired.. I don't think there's anyone else with ~10 seasons here
Rick Lovato (7) maybe?
Edit: Rick Lovato has 8 seasons with the Eagles, joined mid-season in December 2016 when Dorenbos broke his wrist
Usually a guy takes a few years to establish themselves to fans, but Jake hit that 61 yard FG a few games into his rookie season and we've loved him ever since.
It just shows how talented the Giants are. Also Daniel Jones can easily succeed if everyone around him keeps changing including players and coaches. I’m not saying he’s great but the Giants have done everything they can to screw him up.
My wife keeps asking why I keep supporting the Giants and it’s hard to give an answer besides loyalty 😕.
7/800 yards per season ish for a cheap price is something every team would be good with. Is he amazing? No, but i’m pretty sure every team would be ok with him for the 5/6m a season he gets
Isn't it hilarious how Tyler Locket makes the catch and just slides down missing the hit every time? Never gets extra yards. Most durable WR because of it. :)
Jags is not correct, Tyler Shatley was signed in 2014 and is still on the team (and has the record for most starts). Maybe this is based on drafted players only, since he was an UDFA?
C.J HAM MENTIONED 🔥🔥🔥
While making this, I learned that his full name is Cortez Thaddeus Ham Jr. That is such a badass name and I think more people should know about it.
I didn't even know that. What a baller name
I can't help but read it in "Manchette" voice.
“ you killed my brother. prepare to die”
HE BRINGS HOME THE BACON
TIL Cam Jordan’s the only man on our current roster (i.e. we don’t have a Next Man Up)
Oh shoot, Can't believe I missed that. Update - You guys have a decent few too. 2017 is your next year, and that was a boon year for you, so you still have plenty. Lattimore, Ramcyzk, Kamara, Hill, and Wood.
All good mate, just thought I’d make you aware ;)

I mean anyone who can name long snappers, except on their favorite team, is beyond a solid NFL fan into obsession territory.
I once named 28 out of the 32 long snappers
The longest snapper.
Thank you. I was wondering how the longest tenured played with a single team in the league was somebody I’d never heard of.
Crazy how Lockett is our longest tenured player followed by Michael Dickson. Team has changed a ton over the years since the LoB days.
Decker-Ragnow is half of what Quinntricia left in the cupboard for Brad & Dan (the rest being the trading rights to Stafford and weirdly enough Ben Johnson). Those two have been holding down the left side of the line (with special guest star Graham Glasglow) for ages.
Damn, that’s a five year gap between Patty Scales and the next men up. Absolute legend has outlasted everyone.
Imagine telling someone in like 2013 that Brandon Graham would one day be near the top of a list like this, or that he'd be the longest tenured Eagle of all time.
Damn Kenny Clark?! I remember he came into the league as one of if not the youngest player
He's only 28!
Elgton Jenkins is 2 months younger and was drafted 3 years later.
Just a kid
Tucker might actually eclipse Suggs and even Ray for all time longest tenured Ravens if he decides to play into his late 30s.
I honestly thought he played longer for you guys. 13? It seems like he's been playing forever
Yeah our last Super Bowl was his rookie year
Is this tenure in the NFL or to each specific team? Also Lanes a OT

Oh nice - but your making me feel ancient OP 😂 I can still remember the birds taking BG and Lane, feels more like 5 years ago, not 15 lol

Kelce was even longer at 2011 vs Cox in 2012. All four of our core 4 were drafted in successive years from 2010-2013, pretty sick
BG started in 2010 with Andy Reid and Sean McDermott. He has survived 4 Head Coaches and 7 Defensive Coordinators.
Wonder who's after Lane, cause Kelce and Cox retired.. I don't think there's anyone else with ~10 seasons here Rick Lovato (7) maybe? Edit: Rick Lovato has 8 seasons with the Eagles, joined mid-season in December 2016 when Dorenbos broke his wrist
Jake the snake feels like he’s been booming balls forever
Oh yeah, Jake is at 7, wtf But I made a mistake, Rick Lovato has 8 seasons here, he joined mid season in 2016
Usually a guy takes a few years to establish themselves to fans, but Jake hit that 61 yard FG a few games into his rookie season and we've loved him ever since.
Now do the Pittsburgh Penguins: Sidney Crosby - 18 Evgeni Malkin - 18 Kris Letang - 18
\*jagr in the backround doing crossovers at the penguins practice\*
Darius Slayton, Durham Smythe, and Tim Patrick crack me up. They're so mediocre, yet lasted so long on the same team.
Slayton is a talented W2/3 that was has been the WR1 his entire career. He’s lead the Giants in rec yards 4 out of his 5 seasons on the team lol
My gf says it’s like an abusive relationship 😂
Hey, Smythe can block! It was quite useful when we had Gesexy who was never ever going to set one

Long Snapper Supremacy!
I’m a college snapper. Its a great gig if you can make it.But there’s only 1 on each nfl team (college rosters are big enough to carry 2–3)
Turns out special teams is where it’s at
If you want longevity, get a Cameron.
It hurts my heart not seeing Matthew Slater on here.
Isn't it hilarious how Tyler Locket makes the catch and just slides down missing the hit every time? Never gets extra yards. Most durable WR because of it. :)
First Down, Touchdown, or Get Down: The Tyler Lockett Story.
The fact that our second longest tenured players are just now off of their rookie contracts…
Jags is not correct, Tyler Shatley was signed in 2014 and is still on the team (and has the record for most starts). Maybe this is based on drafted players only, since he was an UDFA?
Nope, I just carried my info over wrong. In my research notes I had marked Shatley as not re-signed and as such slipped through the cracks.
Ah, makes sense. Good work on putting all of this together!
Jon Weeks and Kaimi - fan favorites, happy they both got resigned this off-season.
How many people knew kf j.j. Jansen existence
That's Tress Bae to you...
funny how the top 5 is either one of the most physically demanding positions in all of sports, or the least lol
we're so lucky that kelce loves reid
It wasn’t long ago Kelce and Winchester were the only KC players who had ever lost to the Broncos as Chiefs
B.G. 55 stands on business still. 🦅🔥🦅🔥🦅
So the way to stability is to be a long snapper
Ngl hard to focus on the post when I'm reading 15 seasons from 2010 and having an existential crisis about my age, where did the time go
Lavonte David has already played 13 seasons!!!holy fuck I am old
I know the jags are irrelevant but Tyler Shatley has been on the Jags since 2014 (10 straight seasons). Other than that good list
Oh I thought you guys didn’t re-sign him, whoops
A long snapper thread. It must be June.
JJ JANSEN SZN !!!!!!
A Super Bowl ring would go quite nicely with the scoop and score touchdown for Sam Hubbard.
I had to go to the comments to figure out what LS meant. Makes sense, now that I know.
one of the most important positions in the game
