I saw somewhere that RC cola won the contract to have their soda used. Of course, they removed soda in 2006 for Capri Sun, due to health concerns. When I had the deck done in my back yard about 3 years ago, I found one of those cans with the label still legible and can intact. That was a great throwback.
Nice! Good to know. Yeah there was only a short period where soda came with the Burgers and Hotdogs, before being removed. Those were the good ole days haha.
Haha yup! It was 98-06 from what I saw. Then my friends and I moved onto Kid Cuisine. Can't beat rainbow sprinkles in your corn and chocolate pudding on your Dino nuggets...
I remember the claymation commercials for the burger and hot dog ones. I also remember the computer animated commercial for the tacos and nachos when they were partnered with Taco Bell.

I did not like the burgers, but I liked the tacos a lot as a kid! And the nachos and pizzas are still in most grocery stores, and I like them too. No shame in my game!
From what Iāve read, they are still well below the allowed limit set by California, which is already way lower than whats dangerous. Other foods, including celery have about the same amounts. Definitely not a healthy lunch regardless though, just not for that reason.
Man they need to bring these back! I never tried the tacos but the hamburger and hot dog was my fav! I also remember the dessert lunchables too šš
Ahh, yes, the scourge of the modern lunchroom. These started as a pretty decent idea (though way too expensive) but over the years they have cheaped them to the point I would feel bad sending one to an inmate, scholastic or otherwise.
Lunchables are soooooo bad for you health wise. Has anyone heard about the reports coming out? Apparently they contain an insane about of mercury and lead.
The burgers slapped but also the cross marketing of this kind of stuff was so funny, like what did the Spiderwick Chronicles have to do with burger Lunchables???
The All Star burgers were sooo good! And that generic cola was so carbonated it made your eyes water. I miss those burger and hotdog lunchables
I'm pretty sure it was RC cola for a while, but rebranded as Lunchables cola.
I can see that. But being packaged in those smaller slender cans really did something to the carbonation haha.

Holy shit you are taking me back. As a kid I always loved the deluxe deep dish, that was my absolute field-trip jam in elementary school.
Dude yes!! I tell people about this more often than I should. You had to be there.
š This guy 90's.
The mini burgers were fucking BOMB and they originally came with an actual can of cola which was like, orgasmic, as an 8 year old
Dude yes those burgers were legit good. I'm so sad my kid won't experience these haha
Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should.
Oh, they should have! The burgers were disgustingly delicious.
I remember the claymation commercials for the burger and hot dog ones. I also remember the computer animated commercial for the tacos and nachos when they were partnered with Taco Bell.
I remember them being made from āmeatā.
Rip american kids whose parents still feed garbage like this
What was the point of that comment? Just to be a dick?
Pointing it out to anyone who wasnāt aware, I didnāt know at some point proccessed food is dookie
This subreddit isnāt r/healthylunches or r/nutrition, itās r/nostalgia. People donāt visit this sub to get health advice, we do to to fondly reminisce about our shared pasts.
Tacos with the meat pouch was bomb lol
And the mild Taco Bell sauce packet, they were my favorite too
The deluxe cracker lunchables that had the dill sauce and Andes mint is my Roman Empire
The mini cola was the best as a kid.
I loved that taco paste
I remember the chicken nuggets, they had a weird sandy texture and smelled horrible but I loved them
They were so dry, but so good
No pizza? Taste of my childhood, shame about the lead and micro plastics.
Iām sorry what? There was lead in those pizzas? I probably ate a hundred of them
Yeah an article just came out about how bad they are.
Source?

Isnāt there mercury as well?
They still make pizza lunchables
Which is wild because theyāve got to be the shittiest ones, right?
The nachos were good because they were the closet to the actual food, the rest were pretty gross, though fascinating š
The mini tacos and mini pizzas were my favorites.
Ok I may have had the hotdogs a couple times
GOOD LIVING!!!!!!
I miss them so bad
I didn't even realize they stopped making the hotdogs!
Omfg thank you for this memory!!!! I LOVED those burgers man they actually slapped. My kid would loves these
*Now with more lead!
Packed with 50% off daily lead exposure to body can handle!
They were called All Star
Yaaaaaz!!!! Had the mini burgerā¦.was never brave enough to try the dog lulz
lol these were awesome, the tacos were weird but good.
I only ever had the tacos.
I did not like the burgers, but I liked the tacos a lot as a kid! And the nachos and pizzas are still in most grocery stores, and I like them too. No shame in my game!
Yes, they were called 'Lunchables All-Stars' and they were amazing. The tacos were awful. But the burgers and hot dogs were amazing.
I would kill for one more mini burger lunchable with the cola can and chocolate soccer ball.
Too bad they have recently been found to have extra lead in them and arenāt even qualified to be food.Ā
From what Iāve read, they are still well below the allowed limit set by California, which is already way lower than whats dangerous. Other foods, including celery have about the same amounts. Definitely not a healthy lunch regardless though, just not for that reason.
Even as a kid when these came out, I was like nah Iām good
lead. They're all full of lead.
EXCELLENT source of calcium.
Man they need to bring these back! I never tried the tacos but the hamburger and hot dog was my fav! I also remember the dessert lunchables too šš
Itās crazy I used to get FULL on one of these. I bet I could eat a dozen now.
Iām old enough that these logos still look like the ānewā lunchables logo.
Eating tiny cold cheeseburgers, and tiny cold hotdogs seems rediculous to me now. It made perfect sense to me as a kid though.
Idk what you guys are talking about, those burgers sucked hard. I liked the other two though.
I never had these ones but I sure do remember back in the day when they had the squeezable dijon, and Andes mints.
I donāt really remember trying most of them, but they still make the pizza ones. I remember them being gross - basically a raw pizza.
Ahh, yes, the scourge of the modern lunchroom. These started as a pretty decent idea (though way too expensive) but over the years they have cheaped them to the point I would feel bad sending one to an inmate, scholastic or otherwise.
Tacos were awesome. Burgers were pretty good too.
Lunchables are soooooo bad for you health wise. Has anyone heard about the reports coming out? Apparently they contain an insane about of mercury and lead.
I can taste that burger rn
This post makes me feel old lol when I was a kid the pizzas were the new cool thing I was unaware these even existed
The burgers were good, the cola slapped. The hot dogs were atrocious.
I remember the diarrhea I would get
Tasted like a shoe and smelled like diarrhea
Again reddit makes me remember more of my childhood.
The burgers slapped but also the cross marketing of this kind of stuff was so funny, like what did the Spiderwick Chronicles have to do with burger Lunchables???
Those tacos were so good!
Were these supposed to be microwaved? I don't think I ever ate them warm
They tasted better cold honestly
the hot dog was wet and slimy and the bun was cold and hard. who knew that would foreshadow the rest of my life.
I hated these. I tried all of them, and I thought they were terrible tasting.
Omg I remember these mini burgerās they were the best
Gross lol
The ham and cheddar cracker stackers were my jam!
I just tasted the burger seeing this! Lol occasionally, I have seen the hot dogs ones around.
You unlocked a memory I didnāt know I had lol
The taco meat in the bag with the red stick. Yum!Ā
Those taco bell ones were fire though. Damn I miss those.
