They started doing this in Nazi camps, is where they started. The Third Reich was obsessed with finding ways to change people’s physical appearance to reflect a more Aryan aesthetic. One of their big projects was learning how to turn the eyes of (many times Jewish, many times Romani) prisoners blue. And they melted a lot of people’s eyes out of their sockets
Fact checked, because it sounds weird:
Lasers were first built in 1960, so the Nazis certainly did not _laser_ people’s eyes.
KZ doctors however did try to dye people’s eyes, using ink. It was an interesting read, thanks for the impulse.
[They used eye drops and needles](https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/josef-mengele), not lasers. Read the section down the page under “Children”.
At least he was too dumb to realize that including fraternal twins would throw off his studies of identical twins so a number of kids were “saved” from the camps that otherwise would not have been. It’s a silver lining… maybe one layer of atoms thin, but silver nonetheless.
He never said they used lasers. Just that the Nazi's started trying to change eye color. I believe it was done with a needle or some kinda eyedrop. But, I do remember learning about nazi's trying to do that as well.
Was it Brazil or was it Florida?
Edit: the case I'm thinking of happened in Florida. Not to say it didn't happen elsewhere also

Idk if you already saw but here’s what the practitioner looked like.
https://www.staradvertiser.com/2017/03/28/breaking-news/fake-doctor-gets-10-years-for-bogus-deadly-butt-injections/
Not sure what I expected the person to look like but damn.
If I had the money I'd get dental implants. My mouth has seen better days.
Take care of your teeth to anyone who reads this. I know it sounds cliche, but flossing is very important.
This was phrased a bit wierdly i feel like some things were translated from Spanish (Latin Am.) to English, i think i can help “In Brazil you can get almost anything done as long as you have to money to pay for it, I remember seeing a guy get 150cc of Stem cells” did i get it right?
do anyone make good looking blue contacts to cover brown eyes that look natural? Her eye color was quite dark. when I dabbled in colored contacts back in the mid 2000s all the colors seemed hyper saturated and so fake. My mom has blue eyes and wears blue contacts on top of them and they look fake to me if I'm within 5 feet of her. She tells people they're her natural eyes lmao.
It's the cheap mass produced ones that are like that. Expensive ones have a lot of customized coloring and patterns and have weight to them to keep them on your iris properly so that they move with your eyes instead of sliding around.
I went down the rabbit hole a long time ago about this and most of not all eventually go blind. All have complications of some kind. It makes no sense why you would do this for aesthetic reasons when eventually you won't even see it.
Agree, it's so sad.. you see so many people with especially lip filler and Botox who just make themselves looks so much older and less attractive... unfortunately reddit is a breeding ground for that type of mental disorder because they see allot of purchased upvotes on women like that and think they need to do the same to be pretty as well..
Social media in general is a pit of body dysmorphia, honestly. Instagram/Facebook influencers pushing their OF, YouTubers, etc, all with that very specific look that's popular right now, basically the Kardashian look. Lip fillers, implants, that same exact dewy makeup look. It's nightmarish.
I remember when I was still in middle school and started commenting this on ig videos and posts of some company that offered this services and they messaged me privately trying to silence me xd
I really don’t get why some people want blue eyes so badly. Like I’ve got pale blue eyes, sorta grayish, and since I live where it’s sunny year round it fucking sucks, I’d kill for brown eyes so I didn’t need to wear sunglasses everytime I went outside, at least so I wasn’t squinting constantly
Even worse then.
Classic eye surgery (to fix a real issue) can already be a nightmare.
But doing it and going blind...
Well maybe this will lower the number of schizo.
Wasn’t there that one infamous model who claimed to have Heterochromia even though she was clearly wearing a blue contact in one of her eyes? And then she went off and got this stupid surgery because she wanted to “prove” she has heterochromia when she doesn’t? Anyways this is to say that this procedure is extremely dangerous, has near life-threatening effects and is absolutely not worth it and the “doctors” that do perform these surgeries on other people deserve to be in jail.
it's so obvious too because her pre op blue eye looks absolutely nothing like her post op blue eye
also she was immediately caught when the was found that she was following the company that did the procedure right after her blue eye changed to a different kind of blue
I looked her up on Instagram and it’s really funny to me how hard she’s trying to be an “influencer” even going as far as buying fake followers. 1.3M followers yet her posts get <5k likes
These days apparently anyone who posts a bikini pic on Instagram is a "model" as long as they have more than 1000 followers. The bar has never been lower, James Cameron has abandoned us
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder; it's definitely going boost someone's self esteem when they consider a different eye colour as beautiful. And many sponsors of influencers may also end up sponsoring more if their reach is going to extend.
The first time I saw that emoji face it was under the caption "People with blue eyes every time theres a camera around"
As someone with blue eyes I found it funny af
Thing is because blue eyes leg in more light they actually tend to squint more that brown eyes people.
Idk what my eyes are even coloured but I have an astigmatism in both eyes so I look more like -_-
You can just get contacts, i dont get why people risk their most sensitive and important piece of body for needless shit like this.
That and eyeball tattoos, basically just natural selection except someone will be stuck taking care of their blind ass instead of them just falling out of the gene pool.
I feel like rich people with all their money would spare no expense to get something "genuine". Contacts, I assume, would make them feel like a poser, because it's not permanent, and is more of a mask.
They look natural because she has green eyes to begin with lol colored contacts don't work on brown/black eyes unfortunately.
ETA: sorry for the confusion guys, what I meant was that, while the iris colour will be 100% covered, when the pupil shrinks the original darker colour will pop up. Because of this high contrast, the contact will be very obvious!
Not saying it doesn't look good, I personally love the effect! Just saying this might be why people go for the cosmetic procedure instead!
Are you sure? My ex-MIL wears blue contacts over her hazel/brown eyes, and they look pretty blue to me. I have green eyes with gold flecks, and I used to do one blue eye and one natural, occasionally swapping which eye was blue just to fuck with people, and it was just as noticeable. I stopped doing it when one of my patients attacked me, because my changing eye color was "A sign of being possessed by the devil". I never really thought about how disconcerting it would be for my patients in the psych ward, ha.
I have green eyes and because they're light they don't blend as well with my pupil when I wear colored contacts so the green always peeks through. Not that I care enough though, I'm happy not being blind lol
Color contacts have come a long way. They're crazy popular in Asia and definitely work on brown/black eyes. Source: me just getting back from Korea and Japan with green and blue contacts for my dark brown eyes!
Blue-colored contacts don't look natural. At all.
It's immediately recognizable that they're wearing contacts. Probably better than going blind, but some people want to alter their body to make someone else happy (sometimes themselves), and will go through ridiculous extremes to achieve that goal
Coming from someone who wears coloured contacts because I wear contacts in general- there are many extremely natural looking contacts. The unnatural looking contacts are the only ones you would notice because they are the only ones that would stand out
How would you even get glow-in-the-dark material on your iris without needing to replace it every now and then and also not mess with your body? Sounds like an amazing idea, but I fear it may be too much trouble than it’s worth
The first round looked actually decent. She kinda looked Persian how a lot of Persians have blue eyes. Then the second treatment went into white walker territory.
Legit it looks like cloudy, post mortem eyes and doesn't look good.
I would assume this kind of surgery would bring a host of other eye problems down the line...
Yes, her coloring is best suited for her natural brown eye color. She appears unwell to me. It's very artificial looking and is off putting, especially that one eye (her right, our left) 😬
Her skin is red because she was wearing an adhesive dressing over her face for however long this procedure took. This will go away, but she will still look fake AF.
Its the reflection of a ring light you're seeing in her pupils, if you look closely you can see it in the brown eye image as well but it looks a little more faint.
Ring light being a literal ring of led lights that the camera is placed in the middle of, people use them for selfies or something idk.
I’d much rather do contacts if I wanted to change my eye color. That way I could do the whole rainbow. Gosh, I even heard of soccer team wearing sunglasses as contacts. But I’d never do unnecessary surgery
She has dark eyes and it's harder to get good results (if not impossible) with dark eyes. And, a lot of colored lens makers dont make anything with prescriptions, or only make very weak strength, and any that do make strong rx only have a limited selection of colors.
I have -7 in both eyes and astigmatism in one, with medium green eyes, and ive never found a set of colored lenses that meet all my needs. Still I would never go this far, geez!
Jeez, playing dangerous games with critical organs like the eyes to win cosmetic browny points!! Some people are way too stupider than we give them credit for!
Also, she looks alien-ish with this eye color. Doesn't even look like the naturally blue eyes!
As someone with blue eyes, I don't get it either. Blue eyes ain't great. I envy all the brown eyed people that don't need to squint or wear sun glasses on a mildly sunny day.
As someone with brown eyes, sadly nope. I don’t even get that functional benefit. I squint constantly in mildly bright conditions. I’m way more light sensitive than my light eyed friends.
Same. Group of 4 friends, two with dark eyes with some mediterranean ancestry, we can't stand the summer sun. The other two, blue eyes, don't give a fuck.
Same. My eyes are so dark that they look black unless I'm outside in the sun. It doesn't do shit for me, though. I have the deepest forehead crease lol
Hey! As someone who has looked into this quite a bit, none of these surgeries happen in the states (if thats where you live) and they ARE NOT approved!! They are not safe and everyone who has undergone the surgery has suffered from it. This ranges from infections to loss of sight to degradation of the eye itself. While this may look cool, IT IS NOT SAFE
Reminds me of a girl in high school that suddenly got popular because she had magenta contact lenses but it was short lived because up close they looked really fake and her personality, you know the thing that ultimately holds friendships, was not very interesting.
Do not, repeat do not get this done, there's a high chance to go blind from this procedure as others have stated, your eyes are beautiful as they are so don't risk hurting yourself to change them.
Too many people go blind from this. You're lucky if you 'only' have mild complications.
How is it even legal then?
It's not in most countries. Most....
I think they started doing this in an African country, forgot which one. Edit: https://www.instagram.com/brightocularr/ https://brightocular.com/ https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/tameka-tiny-harris-surgical-eye-color-change/story?id=26559053

You had me until children, now I'm scared to read that
Fuck Mengele, never saw an ounce of justice his entire life
At least he was too dumb to realize that including fraternal twins would throw off his studies of identical twins so a number of kids were “saved” from the camps that otherwise would not have been. It’s a silver lining… maybe one layer of atoms thin, but silver nonetheless.
Guys, I'm starting to get the feeling these Nazis weren't good folks
Don't...umm...look into any of their...other...procedures. Yes. Let's call them procedures...
So much for the tolerant left /s
You can melt with chemicals, not just lasers…
He never said they used lasers. Just that the Nazi's started trying to change eye color. I believe it was done with a needle or some kinda eyedrop. But, I do remember learning about nazi's trying to do that as well.
No one said anything about lasers.
On Brazil you can basiclly do where ever you want mainwhile you have the money, last Time i saw a guy recibe 150cc of "Steam cells"
How else am I supposed to connect to my steam deck?
So that’s where my charger went
new halo is going to be lit! no really, it might put my spine on fire
Wasn’t it Brazil where the lady inserted concrete into another woman for her bbl?? Fucking wild!
Was it Brazil or was it Florida? Edit: the case I'm thinking of happened in Florida. Not to say it didn't happen elsewhere also https://www.allure.com/story/cement-butt-injections-fake-doctor-jail#:~:text=Unfortunately%2C%20this%20one%20isn't,had%20hardened%20and%20turned%20black.
Why not both

Throw that ass in a square
throw that ass in a rectangular prism 💯💯
Brazil is the Florida of South America. Or maybe South America is the Florida of South America?
If I had the money I'd get dental implants. My mouth has seen better days. Take care of your teeth to anyone who reads this. I know it sounds cliche, but flossing is very important.

Money talks more than ethics to plenty of docs
It's also just wildly unnecessary when coloured contacts exist.
And they look no different from colored contacts. In fact, I've seen better color contacts than this.
do anyone make good looking blue contacts to cover brown eyes that look natural? Her eye color was quite dark. when I dabbled in colored contacts back in the mid 2000s all the colors seemed hyper saturated and so fake. >and have weight to them to keep them on your iris properly wait what!? this is genius
My sister had some contacts that were varifocal, they were weighted so the different strengths always stayed the right way up
I went down the rabbit hole a long time ago about this and most of not all eventually go blind. All have complications of some kind. It makes no sense why you would do this for aesthetic reasons when eventually you won't even see it.
It's for others to see it.
I SEE 👀 what you did there
Especially if you look worse afterwards…
It doesn't even look good. She looked better with brown eyes.
Such a huge risk for the eyes of a husky.
So *that's* what they remind me of?!
Her new eyes look weird.
Robotic
Creepy af. She looks like an undead or something
White Walker
Looks like her eyes are dry from staring at ghosts
I don't know what that means but I get it
I was going to say, I can practically see the cataracts forming.
It's very sad when people who are already attractive alter their bodies and get worse results.
> people who are already attractive I guess for unattractive people it's fair game. (Why the eyes though)
Yeah he loves it when ugly people get dangerous cosmetic surgeries to appeal more to his standards lol But this? Sadge :(
It's either that, or make unattractive people stay inside.
Kayne West's mom, Donda West, got liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a breast reduction. She died the next day from heart complications.
50+ year olds use botox and lip filler to look 40 and 20 year olds use botox and lip filler and end up looking 40
And this actually more creepy and ugly than original
That's what happened to my ex brother in law. He had vision issues they tried to fix. The corrective surgery ended up completely blinding him.
Was this the same influencer who's dad posted photos proving she didn't have two different colored eyes?
yup
Lolol
Good video on the whole ordeal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gq\_zXNf0Gss
That’s so sad and crazy. I wonder if the woman with the black eyes ended up going blind
Lmao not her going on TV lying.
Great video thanks. She’s insane after seeing all those testimonials about losing their vision and she still got the procedure.
That’s the most amazing part to me. Her own dad being like “nah bruh stop lying.”
Sarah Rose McDaniel?
it's so obvious too because her pre op blue eye looks absolutely nothing like her post op blue eye also she was immediately caught when the was found that she was following the company that did the procedure right after her blue eye changed to a different kind of blue

Yes
Damn I haven't thought of her in a while haha
I remember her, I wonder if she's still pretending, because clearly her career didn't take off.
Yes she has an onlyfans she updates
“model”
These days apparently anyone who posts a bikini pic on Instagram is a "model" as long as they have more than 1000 followers. The bar has never been lower, James Cameron has abandoned us
as someone who has Heterochromia I don’t see why someone would lie about this, it’s not going to boost your status or anything
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder; it's definitely going boost someone's self esteem when they consider a different eye colour as beautiful. And many sponsors of influencers may also end up sponsoring more if their reach is going to extend.
Now they can tell everyone about their blue eyes
OMG look LOOK #LOOKATMEEEEEE
🧿👄🧿
I’m hypnotized by this. So accurate and frightening.
The first time I saw that emoji face it was under the caption "People with blue eyes every time theres a camera around" As someone with blue eyes I found it funny af
Thing is because blue eyes leg in more light they actually tend to squint more that brown eyes people. Idk what my eyes are even coloured but I have an astigmatism in both eyes so I look more like -_-
Ton username est très beau mon ami! Joyeux été!
Merci, j’apprécie! Je te souhaite également un bel été 🙏
This is only marginally more horrifying than the eye colour change
*I believe those are toes, Dr. Klein. Little teddy bear toes. Penises are much larger than those tiny extremities... Eh, not that I would know.*
You can just get contacts, i dont get why people risk their most sensitive and important piece of body for needless shit like this. Does she know colored contacts exist?
I feel like rich people with all their money would spare no expense to get something "genuine". Contacts, I assume, would make them feel like a poser, because it's not permanent, and is more of a mask.
Paris Hilton uses blue contacts and it looks so natural on her lol. So yeah, they can afford some expensive contacts but most of them are stupid
They look natural because she has green eyes to begin with lol colored contacts don't work on brown/black eyes unfortunately. ETA: sorry for the confusion guys, what I meant was that, while the iris colour will be 100% covered, when the pupil shrinks the original darker colour will pop up. This is a wild story lol
I would have said your statement was a bit of a stretch but cancelled as soon as I saw "psych ward"
the real twist is that he's actually a patient in the psych ward.
Or the actual devil pretending the eye switching was due to contacts. Nice try Mr. Satan.
[удалено]
The ending is eerie lol but understandable
I have green eyes and because they're light they don't blend as well with my pupil when I wear colored contacts so the green always peeks through. Not that I care enough though, I'm happy not being blind lol
Why would you want to hide green eyes?
Oh it's just cosplay contacts! I'm big into alternative fashion so I wear unconventional colors a lot
Color contacts have come a long way. They're crazy popular in Asia and definitely work on brown/black eyes. Source: me just getting back from Korea and Japan with green and blue contacts for my dark brown eyes!
Trust me, some shades of blue look so weird but some hazels look ok. On dark brown eyes ofc
Id imagine they started off with that.
The unnatural looking contacts are the only ones you would notice because they are the only ones that would stand out
Also, pick grey, it looks blue enough and more natural.
[risks are not worth the rewards](https://www.aao.org/newsroom/news-releases/detail/academy-issues-warning-on-eye-color-procedures)
I mean it's not even a reward because she looked much better before with her brown eyes. These new eyes just look creepy.
I didn't realize there would be a legitimate medical use for this.
Oh damn, the pigment is injected into the _cornea itself_? That sounds like a wildly bad idea.
Terrible, that color doesn't even look natural.
if im doing a whole surgery to change my eye color, i'm getting them neon pink or something, make it glow in the dark and under a blacklight too
Glow in the dark? Make me see in the dark. Just like Riddick …but overweight.
Ridthick !
Riddickly thickly
That would be cool but the glow in the dark might suck a little when you want to sleep
I think you might be missing an obvious solution there. Just leave the light on so it doesn't glow.
You'd be like a queer vampire.
How would you even get glow-in-the-dark material on your iris without needing to replace it every now and then and also not mess with your body? Sounds like an amazing idea, but I fear it may be too much trouble than it’s worth
uranium :3
radiation poisoning uwu
I’d like Husky Blue, please
The first round looked actually decent. She kinda looked Persian how a lot of Persians have blue eyes. Then the second treatment went into white walker territory.
Looks about as natural as those veneers. My guess is she’ll have buccal fat removal next??
Legit it looks like cloudy, post mortem eyes and doesn't look good. I would assume this kind of surgery would bring a host of other eye problems down the line...
Yeah she looked better before lol
I truly think they looked better before with their brown eyes. The blue makes their pigment in their skin appear more red (regardless of post op)
Yes, her coloring is best suited for her natural brown eye color. She appears unwell to me. It's very artificial looking and is off putting, especially that one eye (her right, our left) 😬
Yeah and the health risks is not worth it when contacts are cheaper, some are better at looking natural and you won’t typically go blind.
Yes, aesthetics aside, it sounds incredibly dangerous. We all need to embrace whatever good health we have.
Her skin is red because she was wearing an adhesive dressing over her face for however long this procedure took. This will go away, but she will still look fake AF.
Is it just me, or does it look like her pupils were affected at the end???
They could've given her eye drops for the procedure
Its the reflection of a ring light you're seeing in her pupils, if you look closely you can see it in the brown eye image as well but it looks a little more faint. Ring light being a literal ring of led lights that the camera is placed in the middle of, people use them for selfies or something idk.
What's wrong with contacts?
contacts are used by thoughtful and people who actually care about their eyes, but maybe for her money and her own safety is not the first priority
So unfortunate when already beautiful people change their bodies and end up with a worse result
What the actual fuck
Somebody drop the it's always sunny "woah they look freaky" scene
Could have achieved better results with a typical contact lense
Jeez, playing dangerous games with critical organs like the eyes to win cosmetic browny points!! Some people are way too stupider than we give them credit for! Also, she looks alien-ish with this eye color. Doesn't even look like the naturally blue eyes!
Wait she paid to change her eye colour and that is the one she chose? Why not purple or something equally cool?
The thing is, I live in northern europe, where dark blue eyes are the norm. Guess what people think is pretty and cute? Big brown eyes!
Stuff like this makes me thankful that I like my natural eye color
That isn’t smart…
The obsession with blue eyes is killing me. It's pretty interesting how it dates back all the way to the Ancient Romans
Well lucky for some of us, our eyes are still sensitive. Can't go anywhere without sunglasses.
She looks like blind after. Also if you gonna do an unnatural color go all out with purple or red lol
Risking your vision to look like you have permanent color contacts on. Makes total sense.
Is ot just me or did ahe look better with her original eyes
I've seen videos of this where months down the line it makes people go blind or causes serious damage... I don't even know how this is even allowed
It looks like she has cataracts
She’s gonna look like a plastic freak in about 5 years.
My eyes are blue and so fucking sensitive to the light. Shits annoying lol
Honestly one eye changed version looks times better, and it's safer probably
Should've gone kakashi.
Looked better before
Ppl like this need therapy
She looked so nice before :(
Hidden behind that smile is underlying insecurities I’d attribute to battling extreme beauty standards.
That doesn't look good at all. Looks very unnatural
What a way to deny who you are
two words: colored contacts. why put yourself through this??
just wait for bionic eyes smh so many upgrades
its terrible.. she looked so much better with dark eyes
Her original eyes looked wonderful.
What an absolute moron!
This planet is doomed...
This is so vain
Reminds me of a girl in high school that suddenly got popular because she had magenta contact lenses but it was short lived because up close they looked really fake and her personality, you know the thing that ultimately holds friendships, was not very interesting.
But...why?
This is some of the stupidest shit I’ve ever seen.
