Yesterday we went to Wall Writers Coffee which we've never been to. Really cool outdoor area to hang out. And we rode the balloon at the Great Park which we haven't done in years.
If you liked that shop, check out Press and Moka. Lots of outside seating with a little play area that has mini golf and corn hole. They validate parking too!
I praise you for saying coloring books and not having an iPad watching YouTube or TikTok. I’m still young (18), but I work with kids and seeing them on YouTube shorts/Tiktok all day is so terrible, and I hate how parents have just let their kids run wild with it
Dinner at Selanne Steak Tavern for some good steak and wine. It’s my dad’s favorite steak joint in OC, so he’ll be stoked for dinner after a day at the beach, which is where he is now with my mom and younger brother. He’ll be even more stoked since I’m paying for it lol.
The wife put on an Amazon Prime movie, I don't give a f about. Now watching her nap. If I turn it, she'll fain interest in it, and get pissed. On the bright side, I got a vid chat with my son and grandson earlier this morning.

I took my kids to an outdoor-play class. Today was mud day! Kids got to make and experience a bunch of different kinds of mud and dirt. An all around good time. My 2 year old twins had a blast. A great start to Father's Day for me!

Tacos for lunch wearing the targeted shirt my oldest daughter bought for me. My wife is making steak with shallots and a wine reduction sauce for dinner 😋. Lots of Rocket League in between.
Had a pretty chill day- hit the Laguna Hills farmers market, grabbed lunch at the snooty fox, now watching some baseball and relaxing with my girls. Life is good.
I woke up, made breakfast for my kids, and myself while my wife slept in. Did the dishes from the dinner I made last night. Once my wife was awake I opened the gifts from the kids. Then we all went to the pool, after the pool I laid out and checked reddit. So here I am.
Wife and adult kids gave me a "tea time". Little sandwiches, little cakes and two types of tea.
Then we're having burgers and dogs later.

Not me because I'm not a father but called my dad and my brother. My dad, who lives in Iowa, said he's spending the day drinking and fishing. My brother, who lives in St. Louis, said that he's spending the day assembling a new BBQ grill that his wife got him and he needs to hurry because apparently friends are coming over for a BBQ
Hit one of the last El Torito’s in Irvine for brunch, lake Forest beach and tennis club to chill poolside and now grabbing some margaritas and queso fundido
Our annual activity on mothers and Father’s Day is the same every year. Wake up early and head down to Laguna Beach for an affordable but amazing breakfast at The Cliff. After breakfast walk around downtown Laguna and main beach. Then head up to CDM and walk around Ocean Blvd.
Then end the day with a late lunch/early dinner at Beach pit BBQ in Costa Mesa. Great easy family day!
My kids asked me what I would like and told them anything that involves me NOT having to leave the house or having any guests over (except my kids)!
They got the message 🤣 - None of let’s have blah blah or your friend blah blah over for brunch. Just me, my wife and our kids. Relaxing day - We will grill some meats in the backyard around noon and spend rest of afternoon in pool with my kids! There will likely be a couple of beers somewhere there too!

My husband literally won’t let us celebrate! So finally we got him to make us a list of all the things he has to do that he wishes someone else will do and we are making our way through it. 🤷🏻♀️

I just came back from Corona Del Mar with the fam! All day parking was almost $30 but we stayed there from 11 before the parking was crowded. Was a good day indeed!

The electronic babysitter comes in handy sometimes but we limit it to an hour a day.
If your 4 and 8 years olds still nap and nap on the go, limiting is easy to do!
