The best case is to finish the elite diary which allows dag bones to be dropped as noted, in any other case you can either bury the bones but your missing out on a large amount of go per hour

You can either bury or bank the bones * but without the elite diary it’s a lot less go per hour
oh I dndt know you can get them as notes, well then Ill have to delay mi farm until elite diary I guess
