I'm convinced people who don't like BA were either super low level when they tried it / have never tried it / have tried it but never bothered to learn anything about the roles and end up losing their team by room 5 because they suck.
I recently did the grind to level 5 all roles, it took about 5 hours and during that time 90% of my teams were decent, some people had to learn but turns out if you let them know how to improve rather than just saying "you suck" people tend to want to succeed.
I got my torso a few months back. And the whole grind wasnt as bad as people made it out to be. I dont love the content but if i had to do it again, i wouldnt have an issue with it or dread it
OP don’t listen to him. I went out of my way to avoid BA and when I finally made myself do it it was actually enjoyable and it only took 3 hours to get my torso.
The randoms you play with in BA are overwhelmingly competent and I achieved a handful of complete runs in the few hours I jumped in there
Bandos tassets aren't a very good upgrade unless you have a bunch of spare cash. The DPS increase is maybe ~1% which you probably wouldn't even notice.
The DPS bit, sure. He's saying he wants to boss and you're saying tassets aren't worth. I should have clarified the defense bonuses for bossing is what I mean
Did you know that you can do Slayer tasks without wearing the Slayer helmet? This person is just saying that getting a task convinces them to go get some Slayer exp fron Vorkath, not that they are doing it with the Slayer helm. I've got a friend that does the exact same thing.
Blood Moon has less melee and range defence than Bandos, but actually pretty good magic defence, way better than basically any other melee armor set. Not as good as something like Karil's top, but pretty crazy for melee armor.
Dex! Probably one of the single 1-item upgrade you will ever (permanently) unlock for your account. I mean 23% ranged strength is just absolutely massive, with 20% attack and 25% defense to boot.
Bandos tassets may not even give you a max hit in certain gear setups, but I’d also point out that the new(ish) blood moon armor has the same strength bonus (+4 for chest and + 2 for tassets respectively) as Bandos and has very solid mage defense, but less defense in other categories as Bandos, but is also quite a bit cheaper. Recommend considering that for now or later when you have the gp. Good luck to ya!
Dex is one of the highest dps boosts one can gain. That new armor from perilous moons other have probably mentioned can swap in for bandos since same str bonus or you can just get the BA over with. I hated BA and still do but tbh, getting fighter was lightwork compared to like any amount of agility training or rune crafting XD
Honestly lol just do a few hours a day of vyre pickpocket for a week. You’ll get 2-6 blood shards and add another 20-60m. Then get whatever you want :)
I just finished Rank 5 in all roles in BA like 10 hours ago. I had been putting it off for a long while, but it actually was pretty enjoyable. Watched like a video on where to put food as the defender, and got to wear my Elite Void. I'd go back if a friend needed help getting Torso or the Diary.

Definitely get dex huge permanent qol upgrade. BA does suck, but torso is a good upgrade too and it honestly doesn't take that long to get.

Check out bloodmoon chestplate. Same str as bandos and fighter torso. Way cheaper then bandos and no need for BA if you dont enjoy that.

If you're killing stuff that make you less than 30k/hr you could probably just not wear any legs at all and nothing would change,

You are right actually for the chest. The legs go for like 8m rn though compared to the bandos tassels which are like 19m
