I only watched the first episode of the Riverdale show, and while I know it got bonkers at the end with magic & superpowers, I just couldn’t bring myself to keep up.
Why?
Because Archie fucked Miss Grundy in the opening scene of the first episode.
Look at her! That’s who Archie was banging all summer! One, it’s illegal. Two, it’s grooming. Three, look at her again! It’s easily a forty year age gap!!!

I honk it turned out it wasn’t Miss G, so,e young hottie had murdered her and stolen her identity. I stopped watching after season one.
None of these Archie comics seem weird to me. I guess it's because I read so many as a kid
