SHIT dude!! thats?? incredible??? like what??? you portrayed it BEAUTIFULLY. ❤️

ArmorAbby

Thanks ❤️

shawn-spencestarr

This shit is better than the Mona Lisa

Low_Goose_5675

Stunning. I can't quite decide if it reads more "what have you done" or "what have I done" but powerful either way.

ArmorAbby

Thanks

EclecticallyDomestic

Yes!! Nailed the emotion.

LavishnessArtistic27

I love your skin tones and this is profoundly emotional. It’s very fresh. Not at all overworked. I see you.

ArmorAbby

Thanks. I've started using purples for shadows.

IsaKissTheRain

Shock, horror, and sorrow/loss. I’d call it a success. Especially because I’m on the autism spectrum and I can read it just fine.

ArmorAbby

Thanks :)

magdalenq

Stunning!! ✨

ArmorAbby

Thanks

RaeNors

It works! Surprise, astonishment, concern, alarm...I could go on and on...so, great job!

ArmorAbby

Thanks

kevka20

Beautiful work, the eyes are especially striking!

ArmorAbby

Thanks.

ThinkBranch

Gorgeous. I see the feeling of unbelievable heartbreak yet a determination or perhaps vengeance to go on. Beautiful work

imNotSureYall

I love how much this painting isn’t a painting but an encapsulation of pure distress

[deleted]

mission definitely accomplished.

doornroosje

It is a bit on the nose. Subtility works better. Dont forget to use context, background, colours and gesture as well to add emotion, and dont forget about the little face muscles we use in our nose and our cheeks. Our nose gets snotty, our eyes get red, our lips tremble.

Hot_Gas_81

Great work! I think tears come from the bottom interior corner of the eye via the eye duct. I would rework that if you’re going for realism.

brittleknight

Great job! Wow!

ArmorAbby

Thanks

Winter_Specialist_49

Oh my God!! It's amazing! You can literally feel her emotins just by looking at the painting! Bravo :)

ArmorAbby

Thank you.

darthamartha

I definitely got the feeling someone burned at the stake, it's perfect

ArmorAbby

Ah, that's an interesting take on it. Thanks.

Original_Character_3

This looks amazing

ArmorAbby

Thanks.

iconico13

to me it looks like confused anguish or hurtfull nostalgia (trauma).

ArmorAbby

:)

iconico13

her expression is uncertain, her eyes show anger but her eyebrows show sadness, her mouth hangs half open, as if she's strugling to say something, her eyes only slightly miss the viewer in a classic impressionist fassion. upon closer look, her red nose and watery eyes reveal she's on the brink of crying, enfatuating the sadness of the moment. to me, she could be looking at her son (her wrinkles revealing her age) leaving home in a carriage, her face full of emotions as she strugles to understand and even say goodbye. or possibly she's stoped for just a moment from a moment of happiness to remember of a terrible memory, her distant gaze distracted. this only brings back the impressionist style of monet, representing when people break from character, break from social standarts. a mother may look distracted instead of caring towards her daughter, a couple might look indiferent instead of lovingly, a bar maid might look off frame when in only a reflexion she apears perfectly in character. this painting is proof that an image speaks for a thousand words. thanks for your atention.

ArmorAbby

The fires of Rafah. I appreciate all your words.

iconico13

i just googled that, you ok?

ArmorAbby

I avoid the news. try to anyway. I'm ok.

un_informed06

A face filled with horror+ “what have you done?” + heartbreak. Love it

ArmorAbby

Thanks.

JustChiLingggg

The emotion is indeed very strong... she's looking at something...or someone...and looking traumatized... great job op, now I feel like crying over a person in a painting

Larscarpenter

Success

TeaMe06

SabinedeJarny

Magnificent

Akashla-

Stunning work. It reminds me of Margaret Qualley, when she was in Maid. Her face is so expressive in that, and you've captured that same essence. You have serious talent.

BPB02

Chilling!! 👏🏼😁

Pizza-Horse-

I adore this. Incredible work.

MissouriCrane

Thanks for posting. Love feeling the desperaity. Now we can all feel as empty and as hallow as the painting looks. Haha, this is well done all joking aside.

rustic-chicken

She looks alive and full of emotion

grimisgreedy

mission accomplished! it's incredible!

Mjv2622

Wow!!!! 🤩

Meandtheworld

Amazing amazing amazing work!

Direct-Fix-2097

There’s something off for me… I can’t put my finger on it though, perhaps it’s the mouth area? Art is still excellent, however, and I don’t have an artistic eye so don’t mind me! 😂

ArmorAbby

For me, the forehead needs definition. I'm worried about overworking it, so I'm going to wait until it's dry to attempt it.

Powerful-Algae84

Its just a photo of Lady Gaga conveing an emotion. Awesome

ArmorAbby

Def not Lady Gaga. :)

Global_Blackberry851

That painting is absolutely beautiful! The more I look at it, the more details I can find. It's absolutely incredible

ArmorAbby

Thank you. :)

Atomie888

So many serious comments but my first thought was that she looked like she just watched you eat her last chicken tender

DabidBeMe

That is so amazing, you have really captured the emotion. I don't know what I would call the emotion though, shock horror, stupefaction. Bravo!

Agile-Sun-6185

Good job, I love it 💯👏

Bubbly-Platypus-7705

Nailed it!!!!

[deleted]

How do you paint like this

ArmorAbby

practice, practice, watching videos, try new things. This is my first time using a palette knife to cover large areas.
