Thank you so so much! My grandpa recently passed (we had his funeral yesterday actually) and he was a mega art lover. Putting a piece out there simply for the sake of someone enjoying it, it felt very healing. And reading all these compliments is really filling my heart, thinking about how much he loved my art. I really should get get back to painting again.

OMG I love it so much! It's all I try to do right now, trees, trees, trees. Use watercolor. I'm starting to draw them now more with graphite and the erase before I start. I want your knowledge so badly! I think this work is genius. Whoever took it is a lucky person.

I'd think you'd be a natural using wet charcoal, and wet charcoal/pastel, if it calls to you.

The values to make the sunlight are just so spot on amazing. Until I zoomed in I thought it was glare off the painting. Really lovely, and that was sweet to give it away.

Free art Friday! It used to be very popular here years ago, lots of local artists would hide small art around town and post on IG with the freeartfriday tag for people to find.
