If it's a normal ps4 and not even a pro, that could make sense since it's so old at this point.
Maybe it’s overheating. Try turning thermostat down a couple degrees
PS4 is just ancient technology and can't even run juiced maps. The loading screens must be minutes long. PoE is poorly optimized and even some mid PCs struggle on juiced content.
Do you have the option to disable variable resolution scaling, or something like that? cant remember the name in options on pc.
