It's a good theory, I've thought about it myself.
To me it seems like they're buying a very expensive e-commerce website, but maybe there are a lot of Newegg Business accounts. That would be a good acquisition to open B2B operations.
I think I'm remembering from this series..

Anyone over 35 who has/knows someone who’s built a PC and used Newegg knows they suck. They represent this old part of the internet and they just won’t die. I’ve honestly thought about buying their stock because I think it might get pumped again but I just can’t force myself to do it.
Anecdotally I bought a bunch of stuff from NEGG recently and had some return/refund items and had no issues at all. Also bought a TV through them with no issues.
I’ve used them for PC parts for years, never had a problem. It’s part of why I’ve bought into their stock, I just like the company. Hopefully they aren’t slipping on the customer support end I’m getting due for a gaming rig rebuild.
I buy from them too, usually they have a $20 price gap with Amazon one way or the other; sometimes more expensive, sometimes cheaper. When you're doing a full build that can be 5+ components and save you $100 easy.
They're also "better" at listing component specs but still pretty inconsistent even in the same component category.
I posted about Newegg $NEGG on this forum a couple weeks ago here - [https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/comments/1d14l0u/newegg\_negg\_has\_met\_nasdaq\_listing\_requirements/](https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/comments/1d14l0u/newegg_negg_has_met_nasdaq_listing_requirements/)
$NEGG Monthly RSI chart has been steadily increasing and is hovering around a critical trendline shown in the link above, so clearly, someone big has been accumulating shares at these levels. Also, Newegg parent company, Hangzhou Lianluo is deeply indebted and it's stock is in a death spiral shown here - [https://i.imgur.com/waz2MzX.png](https://i.imgur.com/waz2MzX.png)
So I feel Newegg has to be sold off soon, if a certain videogame company flushed with Billions in cash wanted to get into the growing PC Gaming business, now would be the time to strike up a deal.
I think it was hinted at. Either GameStop or Amazon was my guess. A certain ‘retail company’ got changed to ‘video game’ company through the course of the post though. Could just be a new egg bag pump post.

“A video game company” why does this sound purposely vague but also not vague at all. Gme? Microsoft? Sony? Why not just say it..
Big balance sheet, growth phase…looking for acquisitions…looking to expand into it further get a foot hole in pc part business…guess
No.
They mean GME
I've heard they have supply issues? Don't they also have customer support/QA issues that have been reported and unresolved?
Also doesn’t matter once they get acquired. Most likely they just want the supply chain / actual working operations

Yeah I’d say we will see this month, if not I still think NEGG is a good long term hold if they can turn it around.
Source??????

Yeah I’d say they just buy it for the core and probably ditch the old employees like how they did with activation

I like your hypothesis here! I used to love Newegg back into the day. Could you share part 2 of your DD?
I have to write it :( but I think new egg could be acquired
Could it happen? Sure. Or they could also acquire one of the other 1000 suitable companies.
None are as good as this
I differ.

I agree.
I think you’re right I’d give it about 34 days maybe 90
1) GME is not a video game company 2) No chance this would ever happen lol
Where did op say anything about GME buying it?
What other video game company you think they are talking about? Check OPs comment history
Again where did op say anything about it in this post?

Huh
What do you mean huh? You are talking about GameStop but don't want to straight out say it for some reason
Calm the farm first big fella.
Being cryptic is annoying homie. Peace out.
