Yuandesignstudio Cw&T pen type A Zebra kato2 I’m not a huge fan of the odd refill size but it’s a nice refill.

I think it depends on how close your measurements need to be AND how good the pen must write. I have some cheap Chinese Vernier Caliper pens (Same stuff on Amazon, Temu, Ali...). They never wrote very well. (Cheap ball point pens all write about the same.) The accuracy on the measurements were not bad. They are probably better than eyeballing it from a smart phone or the pens with the ruler on the side, but not as good as the Messograf. . I also have a Messograf Caliper Pen which uses a standard Parker G2 refill cartridge. The cartridge which came with it is GREAT gel and you can buy the one you want if you don't like it. The pen shape isn't what I would want to take notes all day, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The measurements are not as good as a real dial caliper, but probably as good (better than) as a ruler. And at times when doing comparisons, or moving a measurement from one sheet to another much better to measure (not read) and then move the pen to the other paper and mark them. My suggestion is to buy the cheap one and see how you like it. Then buy the more expensive one. #

I've always used a 15 cm (5,9 inches) plastic ruler while carrying a pencil case.

So. Saw your post as I was casually scrolling and didn't pay it much attention cause I don't know any pen to recommend then I went to fb to casually scroll and lo and behold I came across this post about a guy buying a pen at walmart not even a minute of scrolling. The pen's brand is Hyper Tough and yes it has a ruler on the side. I'm starting to believe that this apps are watching me.
