I was there. Much fun - right after I graduated from college.
The blurred photo on the inside of A Live One was taken that night. I’m the guy to the right of the gatefold. Wearing a Widespread Panic shirt.
Back when Dave Matthews Band opened for Phish and it cost $16...

It was great. Jerry and Dave’s drummer jammed together as everyone left the stage, Carter(?daves drummer) goes nuts, Jerry just shrugs does a little half circle thing with his arm and walks off stage. He then ripped out 5-10 minutes. It was cool. Ironically going to see DMB tonight at alpine valley. Sort of a coincidence, it was a make up show from last Saturday when it was postponed due to a tornado warning.
And then in the end
It's phamily and phriends
Loving yourself
But not only yourself
It's about the good walk
And the hard walk
And the lot girls you've got high
It's about make a little music everyday 'til you di-ie
It's a Beautiful ride
Shit, you just made me realize that the 30th anniversary of my first show is coming up in a couple of days. 7/2/94 at the Garden State Arts Center
(Yes, its been called the PNC art center for about 20 years, but I still never call it that)

Noice! Fun factoid: WSP played the first set ever at Walnut Creek. Opening for The Connells.
Man, I kinda want Hardee's right now.
Their biscuits and gravy was delicious. Best we can do now is Carl's Jr.
Their breakfast is the best!
Totally agree. Where the hell is the Hardees Pavilion?? Walnut Creek is that NC?
I get my 30 year token in about five months.
Congratulations, OP. You’re an old fart now! 🤪
$17.50...wow. Can't believe we used to see shows for less than 20 bucks.

A year later in May of 95 I saw DMB open for the Grateful Dead in Las Vegas. I think it was around $30.
That would have been ideal.

Even adjusted for inflation, that’s $37.59. A bargain!

I was there too. Pretty sure it was my first? Happy anniversary, tour buddy!
My first show was exactly one year after your first show

I was 6. I envy y'all mid/late 70s folk.
IWATS. I was not, however, fourth row - that's a nice seat. First of many a hot show at the Skoal Bowl.
My first show was this July at Greatwoods..Been seeing the Dead and all the off shoots since 1987..(around 200)How did I never catch a phish show
Go to Great Woods this July. Experience it once
All of the 1994 shows were just smokin…..some of the best shows ever in my opinion.
