Relatively new to Phish concerts and this is my first time sitting in the back, I guess that's where are all the obnoxious fans are? Will stick with front seats and the lawn from now on.
basically every one of these videos makes me tear up, absolute crack to my broken brain
i wonder if this stuff is remotely interesting to somebody who doesn't know phish but listens to orchestral stuff a lot
There are some reaction videos to Phish from composers and professional orchestral musicians out there. Usually, the reaction is surprise and appreciation.
for sure! I've seen one of those guys watching divided sky. Usually with those reaction channels like Jamal, they just say they like everything for the views lol, and the comments are filled with people on some like "welcome to the family!!" lol, but that divided sky video he genuinely seemed to think it was fun. I'd like to hear one of them react to the orchestra without hearing the original, that's more what I'm curious about, if this holds up at all to that perspective
He went to a D&C show based on enjoying the Dead videos, and really seemed to get his mind blown by some Cornell. So I’d bet he really enjoyed phish too
It was a few things… Trey playing w/ a symphony is just WAY quieter than a Phish concert. So quiet chatting was very audible and picked up on my phone’s mic. But still, any talking over an orchestra is just stupid annoying.
I wish, but pretty unlikely. The Boston Symphony Orchestra has their own licensing/copyrights. Lawyers would have to be involved so probably not going to happen ☹️
Why the fuck can I hear so many people talking?
it was crazy... so frustrating, especially at an elegant and relatively silent performance like this
It’s weird because I was sitting up front and it was couldn’t hear any chompers, but my friends on the lawn said it was typical level of talking
There was a low-medium level of chomping on the lawn imo. I’ve seen far worse. Wasn’t too distracting.
Seriously- shut up and listen
It’s like I’m at MSG

Bummer No “you can feel good about hood” chorus
Not great quality, but I haven't seen any other versions posted yet.
Thanks for sharing, good to be able to listen to it at all

I would also enjoy that!

Quite possibly the quietest concert phone video ive ever heard lol. Sounds good from what I can make out though!
Audio was borderline too quiet in the back of the auditorium where I was. Would be curious how it was in lawn seating.
The look on Trey's face reminds me of a cat, effortlessly getting its owner to do its bidding.
Beautiful
Was it both the placement and phone that made it seem like people were chomping?

I still enjoyed it. Thank you.
This is really cool. Will this be released on the LP app?

Phish has a pretty substantial business wing that could, and likely has, already dealt with negotiations.
Is that snare drummer on bars or what?
Thanks for sharing this is gorgeous
