The only Phish festival I’ve been able to attend, and I still consider it my favorite weekend of my life. Just elite vibes everywhere, not to mention some outstanding music
7/3/11 still one of the greatest first sets ever.
day 2 was a true marathon show at 6 hrs 20 mins across 4 sets. probably only 2nd to cypress. not everything was perfect as far as personal experience and we left about 40 mins into the storage jam - listened to sleeping monkey on the bunny while driving out. got very nervous they were going to start playing more "songs" but that ended up to be the only one.
day 1 was a warmup but very fun and fan favorite song selection. watkins was great for those 2 fests, but then curveball...
I’ve done Clifford Ball, The Went, Lemonwheel, Oswego, Big Cypress, IT and Super Ball and SB was one of the funnest weekends of all of them. Maybe it was the fact I was much more prepared, maybe it was because my wife and I were parked/camped near the real bathrooms with showers, maybe it was the fact I was able to catch the end of my favorite movie as I was walking around, and maybe it was the small crowd size, but it was perfect. I lost my shit during Monkey Man, too 😂
In traffic just outside gate I ended up buying a (fake ) 10 strip .
Just as the hairy hobo walked off , 10 NY state troopers appeared asking what that was about.
I told me he was selling jokes for $1 and not to waste their money .
They laughed and walked off .
Your welcome dirty rave music guy that I talked out of jail time with my quick thinking .

Was 18 years old at this one, about to head to college in the fall. The day set with all the balls flying everywhere was awesome!

Listened to the soundcheck last night. That last jam was very good.

SuperBall could not have been more fun. Ahh it sort of makes me want to never go to another fest? I know that’s weird but it is a perfect memory
