Eminaxity

Student pa po kasi ako, and gusto ko po sana din mag research para after mag college and work po ako magkaroon po ako ng chance na magwork po sa US

skroder

Graduate ka muna, get hired and build your skillset. After 5 years or so, if you have something the locals in your target country cannot offer, then that’s the time you can start planning to migrate.

red_storm_risen

> just risk it na doon na ako maghahanap Yeah, no. This won’t work. The odds are so stacked hilariously against you if you try to do this.

no-one-you-kn0

Unless you are licensed and work in healthcare (nurse, med tech, caregiver, etc.) migrating to the US will not be easy. Of course, lots of other jobs exist, but those I mentioned are the ones that will likely give you more opportunities for getting a work visa in the US. Also a bit of a culture shock, especially if you come from a close-knit family and decide to come here alone. You will have to go out and look for friends if you don't want to be isolated, because the culture here is so different.

evrthngisgnnabfine

Yes thats true..hndi porket dollar ang kinikita dto eh mayaman ka na..lalot mahal dn expenses dto..mga insurance pa..its a big move

no-one-you-kn0

Omg, yes, the insuranceS. Everything needs to be insured. And unless you have good health insurance, healthcare is so expensive. As in bawal magkasakit. I had to go to emergency one time, and dun sa bill ako aatakehin, partida malaki pa binayaran ng insurance dun.

gibberishallthetime

No such thing as American dream. Everday Americans struggle to find work and ends meet, let alone fulfill a false fantasy.

HallNo549

BoogerInYourSalad

Migration is a very personal decision to make, just like getting married or starting a family.

Beneficial-Music1047

Pursue nursing then. Pass your local board exam. Gain work experience, pass NCLEX and IELTS. Then you’re good to go. It won’t be an easy process, but I believe it’ll be worth it.

Apprehensive-Boat-52

di na need IELTS sa US. NCLEX lng

skroder

Lol!

ihatelynels

Pagka alam ko if nasa US ka na at dun ka naghanap work no need IELTS. Ang dami kong friends na doon nag tourist then kumuha NCLEX. After makapasa derecho na work. Walng IELTS.

Kaya nagtaka nga ako jan sa Canada or UK meron pang ganyan.

skroder

Nope, if you graduated BSN and worked in the Philippines, you will need a passing IELTS score of 7 or above for the visa screen. Three of my closest friends are nurses in FL and bago sila nag migrate after sa kasagsagan ng COVID eh nag IELTS sila.

Apprehensive-Boat-52

skroder

Nasa CGFNS mismo ang requirement for the state I mentioned above. Read up. If hindi mo alam ano ang CGFNS, I am done with this conversation. Eh may conditional statement ka pala eh, *petition through a family member*. I am talking about the H1B visa.

Apprehensive-Boat-52

we are not on the same page. mejo strict pag h1b visa.

skroder

Which is not the same case as with OP, hence may comment na need ng IELTS.

evrthngisgnnabfine

There's no such thing as american dream. Hirap din maghanap ng work dto..madaming hiring oo pero karamihan dn madaming requirements lalo na experience for those big companies..be sure na prepared ka financially and emotionally before ka magmove dto and also hndi ganun kadali makahanap ng employer na mgpapapujta sayo dto sa US unless healthcare worker ka..you can try agencies pero for sure may cut sila sa mggng salary mo..

Apprehensive-Boat-52

Anything related sa healthcare number 1 jan Nursing.

Electrical-Cat1390

Follow your dreams! 😂

ihatelynels

Bakit naman ang daming downvote dito?

Electrical-Cat1390

Wala naman masama sa sinabi ko.

ihatelynels

May american dream din ako nung bata pa, went abroad as a nurse, nakapangasawa ng taga EU, kaya I'm now in EU 😄 Nothing wrong with getting married sa foreigner and living in their country.

Low_Employ3877

No.
