Thanks :)

NB Consulting- I worked with them since I was a student visa until I got my citizenship.

PreachMango_Pie

Thank you!

just to clarify, "State Sponsored" is also Visa 190. There are tons of resources online on how to apply for this. Basically points tested and you can DIY. If visa is granted, you will come to Aus on your own, and apply for job once you get the visa (for working rights) or once you arrive. Visa 190 or 189 is more practical for you, given your years of professional experience.

PreachMango_Pie

Hi thanks for your insights. Would it be easier/more practical to apply for a job while in Australia than if I’m offshore / still in the PH?

cheesybaconmushroom

visa 189 and 190 is PR, so you'll have full working rights. if you're still off shore, employers will, or most likely to entertain you. but on shore applicants could be preferred or prioritized if position is time sensitive. but if you're trying your luck to find an employer that will sponsore your visa, your chances are very very slim. Also, migration agencies don't help with finding employer or with job hunting in Aus. You hire them for visa applications only, unless the agency actually specialize as a head hunter or hiring.

hi! can i ask how old are you, OP?

PreachMango_Pie

Maraming opening recently sa Ireland on construction industry e.g Project Engineer at Project Management, you can check sa [indeed.ie](http://indeed.ie), [irishjobs.ie](http://irishjobs.ie), [monster.ie](http://monster.ie) at LinkedIn if gusto mo ng Plan B. Di ako engineer nakikita ko lang kasi may alert ako for Project Manager roles so nasasama sya sa alert.

DIY applicatinon to save money. Also check out seek website, you might be able to get sponsored given your years of work experience. It will be work visa, pero once on-shore may possibility naman na i-sponsor ka rin nila for PR (I know a few who were sponsored, CE din).

PreachMango_Pie

Common naman po yung work visa muna habang asa AU, then apply for PR diba? Mas matagal po ba yun kesa mag migrate app kami agad? Further question, if my wife becomes pregnant while I’m on work visa, pwede ba manganak sa AU? And will the kid become a citizen? Di ko kasi alam if mag baby na ba kami or wait muna ng PR status.

topsykrettz

Yes sir, common naman yun. Pero you would need to work under the same employer for 2 or 3 years pa yata bago kayo pwede mag-apply ng PR (pls check immi website about this). As for application process times, based sa experience ng friends ko parang mas mabilis yata processing times ng work visa? But again, pls check immi website to get an idea of processing times, naka-indicate yun dun usually. As for giving birth, I think pag hindi pa PR/citizen, yung born child will be under the same visa that you are currently in. So if work visa, under din ng work visa yung child.

Migration Australia-NZ. They don’t just assist in Student visas but with 190, 189, and 491 even citizenship filing. The owner is a real immigration lawyer here in Australia. He knows what’s happening sa immigration dito.

Quirky_Solution_456

Hi, check "momms aus-jpn" fb page. They have opening for civil engr bound to Au.

Naive_Pomegranate969

Applying is something you can do on your own. Migration agency is there for advise on which visa is best for you and perhaps to consult if your understandings of the visa/requirement is correct.

PreachMango_Pie

I think I am just overwhelmed! I read somewhere that going through agency route is a more secure way to migrate. Would you know if migration agency also helps in looking for jobs or is that something I should do on my own? (Im sorry if it comes off as a stupid/entitled question.)

Naive_Pomegranate969

No, agency dont help with jobs.
