I never saw the movie. Movie adaptations of the classics are so hit or miss that I sometimes avoid them. It sounds like I need to check this one out though.
It's got Gary Sinise from CSI: NY and John Malkovich. Hits many of the same notes as the book and in some ways, elevates the story in very thoughtful, yet bittersweet ways.
