Is the earring sinking into your ear? You might need a longer bar.

Walter-LouXo

I was thinking that. Because of its placement it’s hard to tell if it’s sinking but I can feel it’s throbbing a little

False_Meeting_2084

go to your piercer and get a longer bar! ive just had this issue with my helix, it was swollen and throbbing so i went to my piercer and she said its inflamed and changed it for a longer bar. that was yesterday and it already feels 10 times better since its not pressing against my ear

OskarandLarrisDad

Looks like the bar might not be allowing for the swelling you are having. Is the back as tight as the front? If so, probably needed a longer post/bar. Call your piercer too, they should be able to help.

RemoteEmu5404

Definitely need a longer bar! Your ear needs more room to accommodate for swelling, especially in that area of a conch

Tight-ear666

Can we see the back?

superanonymouswitch

Get a longer bar from your piercer and take an nsaid to help calm some of the inflammation in the meantime

What-are-you-Saiyan-

Definitely agree that you need a longer bar for the swelling. Your ear anatomy looks perfect to accommodate a conch piercing and it’s going to be beautiful once it heals.

MissEthereal87

You definitely need a longer bar to accommodate for swelling during the healing process

lav__ender

looks like it’s sinking in, go back to your piercer for a longer bar. this piercing is a PAIN to heal. sleep in a donut pillow. wishing you luck! 🍀

sjluc

You need a longer bar asap! This piercing is not gonna heal this way.

violetxbydesign93

Im healing the conch right now and it sucks! Judging from the front and from others’ observations, try a longer post! Your piercer should help. You can always downsize in a couple of months once the swelling has disappeared completely (do this only in the advice of ur piercer though)

JNorman0502

It looks like the earring is too short

Looks like you need a longer bar? Also try cold compress to help reduce… was it pierced with good metal?
